you lover driving through the country side with tom, especially in fall. the rain, the smell of pine in the air, the crisp red & brown & orange leaves with the mix of wearing warm clothes— his sweater paired with your scarf— you loved it all.
you loved the feeling of his hand resting in your thigh, giving light squeezes every now & then. you loved seeing him wear his beanies with his brown curls peaking out from underneath. you loved the look of him in his warm coats, baggy jeans & dirty sneakers.
you loved how his eyes matched the feeling of fall so well— his brown eyes matching coffee, hot chocolate, the bark on the trees— you loved looking into them & feeling like pumpkin & cinnamon was drifting through the air.
you loved it all & you knew you'd remember it all.
