"i'm not—" you sneezed instead of finishing your sentence.

"yea, that wasn't convincing, baby," jaemin said to you and wrapped another blanket around you, effectively turning you into a burrito. "are you hungry?" he asked you. you shook your head. "did you eat yet?" he asked and you shook your head again. "i'll make you something small, okay? can't let my baby starve," he said before leaving the room.

you pouted and laid down in your bed. you scrolled through social media for a little bit while jaemin made you some food in your kitchen.

a bit of time passed by and jaemin came back into your room. he had a small bowl of food prepared for you and handed it to you.

"this is what happens when you don't wear a coat to go play in the snow," jaemin said and placed the back of his hand on your forehead.

"it was only for like two seconds," you replied before taking another bite of food.

"two seconds too long," jaemin said and cracked open a bottle of water that was on your desk for you. "here." you took the water bottle from him and drank some water. "how are you feeling?" he asked.

you shrugged and grabbed a tissue from the small cardboard box that was next to you, "a little groggy, but i'm okay for now."

"i'm sure you'll be fine by tomorrow or the day after, i just don't want you to do anything drastic today," he said. "i'll buy fever-reducing medication for you once i leave practice," he mentioned.

"thank you," you said before eating some more. you checked the time on your phone, "don't you need to leave soon?" you asked.

"hm?" he checked the time on his own phone, "oh, i should. okay, see you soon, baby." he said. "don't move unless you need to. call or text me if you need anything," he added and grabbed his jacket off of your desk chair. "love you. get better quickly," he blew a kiss towards you.

"love you more!" you exclaimed, making jaemin chuckle as he headed out to go to practice.
