Piper's Point of View.

We decided to hold a meeting for all the people who were exposed to the disease. I was sat with Daryl, staring down at the table. I was incredibly worried about the baby. I didn't want to lose the baby. I sighed as Daryl placed his hand on my lower back. I looked up at him and sighed. He leant forward and kissed my cheek. I placed my hand on his cheek and smiled before looking back over at Carol. I rubbed my head slightly, feeling hot.

"Patrick was fine yesterday, and he died overnight. Two people died that quick? We'll have to separate everyone that's been exposed." Carol explained.

"That's everyone in that cell block. That's all of us maybe more." Daryl cut in.

"We know that this sickness can be lethal. We don't know how easily it spreads. Is anyone else showing symptoms that we know of?" Hershel asked.

"We can't just wait and see and there's children. It isn't just the illness. If people die, they become a threat." Carol added.

"We need a place for them to go. They can't stay in D we can't risk going in there to clean it up." Hershel sighed.

"We can use cell block A." Carol suggested.

"Death row?" Glenn asked. "I'm not sure that's much of an upgrade." He added.

"It's clean." I said.

"That's an upgrade." Daryl added. "Think that'll work for Dr. S?" He asked Hershel.

"I'll help Caleb get it set up." Hershel told him. Suddenly, coughing sounded from outside, Daryl and Carol shot to their feet, along with Sasha, Glenn and Hershel. I stood up slowly and followed them out, I was now sweating. It was so hot.

"You don't sound so good." I heard Carol say to Karen.

"We're just taking her back to my cell so she can rest." Tyreese replied for her.

"Tyreese, I don't think that's a good idea." Hershel told her.

"Why? What's going on now?" Karen asked.

"We think it's a flu or something." I told her.

"That's how Patrick died." Glenn added.

"Judith was in that cell block. She's vulnerable, Piper's going to be in there, anyone that may be sick or even exposed should stay away." Hershel explained. I frowned and looked down.

"It killed Patrick?" Karen asked.

"She's gonna be okay and now that we know what Patrick died from we can treat it, right?" Tyreese asked.

"Don't panic. We're going to figure this out but we should keep you separated in the meantime." Hershel explained. "We'll have Caleb take a look at you. I'll see what we have in the way of medications." He told Karen.

"David from the Decatur group, he's been coughing, too." Karen told us.

"I'll get him. There's some empty clean cells in the tombs, right?" Glenn asked, Sasha.

"Yeah, we'll meet you there." Sasha told him as he walked away. "Come on. Let's get you settled." She then said, leading Karen and Tyreese away.

"Have to call another meeting later." Hershel said.
