........................................................................

Today was the day we were going out to build up the walls. Carter had given Rick the idea to fortify the cut offs with wall, so that it  will hold against the giant herd. We'd already been out to see the quarry, and Rick had set out a plan on how we were going to lead then away with ease. The walls were blocking the streets that lead back to Alexandria. The plan was scheduled to go down in a few days, Daryl had asked me everyday if I was still okay enough to go out, and everyday I told him I was.

Daryl and I had just woken up, well I just woke Daryl up with my loud retching and throwing up. He entered the bathroom and began rubbing my back gently as I continued to chunder. With a groan, I slumped against the toilet, placing my hand on my stomach. Letting out a chuckle, Daryl crouched down beside me, sending a small smile my way.

"No, don't look at me, I look disgusting." I complained, covering my face with my hands. Tenderly, Daryl reached over and slowly pulled my hands away from my face, an 'are you serious' look sat on his face. "Don't look at me like that, it's true." I whined. "Now let me brush my teeth, my breath must reek." I ordered, as Daryl helped me to my feet.

"You okay to go out today?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm sure I can survive a ride on my motorcycle and listening to Rick go over the plan for the millionth time." I spoke, patting Daryl's shoulder and beginning to brush my teeth. As I spat out the toothpaste, I looked up in the mirror to see Daryl stripping off, I couldn't help but stare as he climbed into the shower, lighting a cigarette as he did.

"You know, instead of staring, you could join me." He spoke, turning to me a blowing the smoke out from his mouth before placing the cigarette on the side of the sink. I smirked at him before rolling my eyes.

"The question is, do you want me to join you Mr Dixon?" I asked, walking closer to him, my eyes wandering down his body. His hand gently gripped my chin, forcing my gaze up to meet his. His fingers slowly travelled don my arm, making me shiver beneath his touch. His leant in slightly, his warm breath hitting my face. "You didn't answer my question." I whispered, pushing my face slightly closer to his. A light smirk ghosted across his lips, as his fingers danced along my waist before gripping the hem of my shirt. Daryl tugged the shirt up, causing me to lift my arms complying with his movement. He tossed it to the side with one hand whilst the other travelled up my back, stopping at my bra and unclasping it. "Actions speak louder than words, Dixon." I stated as he swiftly slid my bra off. My lips danced lightly across his, barely touching as his rough hands roamed my upper body. "You gonna be a gentleman and take the rest of, or am I gonna have to do that myself?" I asked, cocking my head to the side.

Letting out a chuckle, Daryl slowly began to lower himself to his knees, placing small kisses down my stomach and chest as he did. My hands played with his hair and he slowly undid my jean before tugging them down, pulling my panties down with them. Without a word, Daryl stood back to his feet and took a step back, his eyes ran across my body admiringly. Turning on the shower, he let the water run for a moment before holding out his hand. Smirking I took it and Daryl pulled me into the shower. He pulled our bodies close together, allowing the water to hit us at the same time. Our lips finally met and I closed my eyes, letting out a pleasured sigh and hoping this moment would never end.

A little while after our shower, I was gripping onto Daryl's waist as we made out way to one of the cut offs. I wanted to help out which Daryl was completely fine with, as long as stayed within viewing distance of him. As he parked up, I climbed off the bike, being greeted by Rick as we did.

"You two are late, why?" Rick asked, crossing his arms. Holding back a smirk, Daryl looked at me to reply.

"My morning sickness was worse than usual..." I strted.

"Yeah, so I told her to take is steady, don't rush gettin' ready." Daryl finished.

"Right, everything okay now, though?" Rick asked, believing the lie.

"Yeah, we're all okay." I smiled, placing my hand over my stomach.

"Good, take it easy out here too, not gettin' stressed out." Rick ordered before walking away, after which a snort sounded from Daryl, causing me to burst out laughing.

"I told you we were late!" I exclaimed, smacking his chest.

"Whatever, it was worth it." He smirked, grabbing his crossbow of the bike and slinging it over his shoulder.

"It was." I agreed, smirking back at him.

"Piper, you wanna help me out?" Michonne called, she was standing by a truck full of supplies.

"Duty calls." I spoke to Daryl before rushing away and over to Michonne. "What can I help with?" I asked. She pointed at the metal plate lying in bed of the truck.

"We need to carry those, over there." She explained, pointing at the pillars that were currently being put up. I nodded and grabbed one end, waiting for her to grab the other before the two of us lifted and moved the plate. "So, how're you feeling?" Michonne asked as we began to move another.

"I feel good today, not a emotional." I laughed. Michonne smiled.

"That's good, you think you'll be alright to go out, you know, the plan?" She then asked as we placed that piece of metal down.

"Yeah, I know ya'll are tryin' to nonchalantly tell me that I shouldn't go out, but I am, and that's that." I spoke, placing my hands on my hips.

"Yeah, sorry, we're just looking out for you, Daryl especially. We can all tell he's worried sick about you and the baby." Michonne smiled.

"I know, but I can look out for myself too, that's what I've told everyone and the only person that seems to get it is Glenn." I told her. "This is why I didn't want everyone to know, these people think that I'm oblivious to the cautious stares, and weary looks but I'm not, I hate that people think that they have to be on edge round me, I'm not made of glass, I'm pregnant, I won't break." I  sighed.

"I  know, sorry Piper." Michonne apologized.

"Me too." I spoke. "Now, let's get back to work."
