The next day, I was sat in my room by myself. My eyes were closed and I was just thinking. Over-thinking more like. I was just worried about everything. My brain was on overdrive and I was growing more exhausted. My body was beginning to shut down, I just needed rest, or a good day. A line of good days. With a sigh I stood up, deciding I should do something, rather than sit around and worry.

I exited the house and began to walk through the streets of Alexandria. I noticed the worried expressions on the towns-folk's faces. To be honest, I was kinda glad that they were finally beginning to see that living in this world, is not a easy as they thought. It's better for them to see now that this world won't be as kind as it seemed.

My eyes landed on Rick, who was walking the fences, making sure there were no breaches. My gaze then traveled to Maggie, who was on lookout. Probably waiting for Glenn to come back.  I then noticed Morgan, he was training himself, using his stick. I hadn't really spoken to him since he got here, apart from to thank him for saving Daryl and Aaron.

"Piper." I jumped when Rick's voice called my name. I turned to him and smiled.

"Hey Rick, what's up?" I asked.

"I need you to come with me, we're gonna talk to Morgan about what happened the other day, head up to our house I'll meet you there." Rick explained.

"Oh okay, no worries, see you in a minute." I nodded before turning away and heading back to the house. When I entered, Michonne and Carol were already there.

"Hey Pipe, you alright?" Carol asked.

"I'm doing okay, just worrying like ususal." I explained with a dry chuckle.

"It's okay to worry." Michonne smile.  With a sigh I nodded, before taking a seat at the table. Carol sat down beside me, placing her hand on my shoulder. I smiled at her, but deep down inside I was trying to hold off tears.  As Michonne took her seat, Rick walked in with Morgan, both sat down at the table.

"What's going on?" Morgan asked looking at each of us.

"When I was coming back I tried to cut off the herd with the RV. Lead the walkers away but five of those people with the Ws in their foreheads, they stopped me. They tried to kill me, shot up the RV." Rick explained with a pause. "Now, Carol says she saw you, that you wouldn't kill those people." He finished.

"Did you let any of them go?" Carol asked.

"Yes, I did. I didn't want to kill five people I didn't have to kill." Morgan explained.

"They burned people alive." I snapped.

"Yeah." Morgan sighed, he looked down and let out a breath. "Why didn't you kill me, Rick, back in King County?" He finally asked after a moment of silence. "Pulled a knife on you. I stabbed you. So why didn't you kill me?" He questioned. "Was it 'cause I saved you after the hospital?"

"'Cause I knew who you were." Rick cut in.

"Back there I would have killed you as soon as look at you and I tried but you, you let me live and then I was there to help Aaron and Daryl." Morgan explained. "See, if I-- if I wasn't there... if they died... maybe those wolves wouldn't have been able to come back here." He added, my face hardened and I glared at Morgan. "I don't know what's right anymore 'cause I did want to kill those men. I seen what they did, what they keep doing." He sighed. "I knew I could end it but I also know that people can change 'cause everyone sitting here has. All life is precious. And that idea-- that idea changed me. It brought me back and it keeps me living."

"I just don't think it can be that easy." Michonne cut in.

"It's not easy."

"I wasn't saying--"

" I-- I know and I've thought about letting that idea go. But I don't want to." Morgan spoke.

"You may have to." I retorted.

"Things aren't as simple as four words. I don't think they ever were." Michonne added.

"Do you think I don't belong here?" Morgan asked.

"Making it now, do you really think you can do that without getting blood on your hands?" Rick questioned.

"I don't know." Morgan sighed.  With a sigh, I stood up from my seat, and turned to leave.

"You can't go through this world without getting blood on you're hands, it's impossible Morgan." I spoke, glancing back at him. "We know that all too well." I sighed, glancing at Rick who nodded. With that I walked away and left the kitchen, heading up stairs. I entered Judith's room and smiled at her as I sat down beside her crib. She smiled up at me and giggled making me laugh.

"Hey baby girl, you look happy." I smiled down at her. She gurgled and giggled again. With a laugh, I stood up and laid Judith down, giving her a blanket. "Go to sleep baby girl." I whispered, kissing her forehead before leaving the room. When I got back downstairs, it was empty.
