I've been thinking over what I said to Harry last night. I really regret it. I came off way harsher than I meant to be.

I try brushing it off so I can focus on work but for some reason it's really hard not to think about.

Speaking of the devil. He walks through the door of the cafe, Instantly meeting my eyes as we both freeze.

He slowly walks up to the counter, swallowing hard then clearing his throat.

This is definitely awkward.

"Um can I just get a large black coffee?" He stutters slightly.

"Yeah sure, it'll be 2.45" I reply, my voice barley loud enough for him to hear me.

His fingers brush mine while giving me the money and my eyes meet his for a split second, I look away and scratch my head while giving him his change back.

I don't know what's going on with me. A really awkward person put in awkward situations don't mix well.

I give him his coffee as he gives me a small forced smile and immediately walks away to go sit at a table.

I let out a long sigh sitting down in my chair. What happened yesterday was all my fault. I treated him like shit when all he was doing was being friendly. I need to apologize.

As I start getting up, he gets up and throws his coffee away and walks to the bookstore and a costumer is coming through the door. Guess it will have to wait.

-

It's finally my break now. I can go and apologize to Harry, if I don't, I won't be able to get it out of my head.

I walk around the bookstore for a minute trying to find him. He was sitting at his usual table he sits out. The second I see him I feel like I want to walk the opposite way.

Fucks sake, grow a pair of ovaries girl

I drag my feet over to where he is sitting, and I sit right across from him. He doesn't move a muscle.

Shit, he's upset, or he doesn't know I'm here.

"Harry" I squeak out

Wow I feel like we've been in this same place before.

He slowly looks up at me. Immediately when he does my chest tightens. Yeah he's upset.

Understandably though.

He doesn't say anything. He just sits there in silence looking at me with no expression on his face.

It's actually kind of scaring me.

I look down at the table, fiddling with my fingers, not being able to handle his stare. Then I look right back up at him.

"We need to talk" I finally let out.

"Do we?" He snaps. Damn.

I raise my eyebrows in shock on his reply. I really wasn't expecting that.

I inhale sharply. "Look I get why you're upset, and I wanted say I'm sorry for how I treated you yesterday." I respond.

He keeps his dead stare on me, letting his gaze linger with mine before he looks away briefly. When he looks back at me, he narrows his eyes, the coldness in his gaze starting to come back. His stare is honestly now scaring me. I'm almost trembling under it.

"Sorry doesn't always cut it Leah" he shortly responds.

"What?" I ask, shocked on how he's acting "Harry I said I'm sorry I don't know what else I can do" I say with a sigh.
