Day 12 of CountDown to Christmas

"Did you break into my house?" Frenkie asked as soon as he got home from his training session. You were just staring at him placing something on the wall. You were staring at him like you were a little kid that had just got caught doing something that you shouldn't which you were actually doing but you weren't a kid. You also didn't exactly break in Frenkie had given you a key for emergency's and this was an emergency so you used the key. You knew that Frenkie had training so you knew that this would be the best time to put up the Christmas decorations without him complaining the only thing that you didn't do was estimate how long the Christmas decorations would take to put up and how little time he would be at training for. You have been here for 3 hours but everything needed to be perfect so you still had some things to do. You were hoping to get it all done before Frenkie came home but that obviously hasn't gone well but you didn't care you would continue to decorate his house however you liked. Frenkie did like Christmas but he found doing the Christmas decorations boring and found other important things to do so constantly put it off but apparently now he had no other choice but to have Christmas decorations up since you were doing it. He was just dreading the day that he would have to take them all down knowing that would take time.

"You hadn't put any Christmas decorations up yet. What choice did I have? And it's not technically breaking in if you gave me a key." You asked/told him continuing to sort out the decorations making sure they looked all nice. You made sure that everything was colour coordinated so all the ordainments and decorations went with the rest of the room. You had to bring some of your own decorations that didn't get used in your house since Frenkie didn't have a lot in his house considering he only moved in a few months ago. You and Frenkie were close friends who had recently started to see each other. You weren't dating but you were close to it. You turned away from Frenkie continuing to place tinsel around.

"I still have 13 days," Frenkie said placing his bag on the floor next to the door and started to walk over to you pulling you away from the wall to stop you from decorating. He looked around the hallway and noticed how much you actually decorated. He wanted to ask you if you had decorated the whole how but he resisted already knowing the answer. It would most likely be yes. Even though he has only known you for a few months he knew you well enough that you enjoy Christmas time and love the feeling of Christmas time. The decorations, the music, the giving and the cheerfulness you get surrounded by are your favourite things about Christmas. Just the Christmas spirit. Frenkie did love Christmas as well but nowhere near the amount that you love it.

"Not enough time." You said trying to break free out of his grasp wanting to continue decorating even though the majority of it was already done and completed. There wasn't much room left for you to actually decorate but you needed to finish it. It had to look perfect. Frenkie wouldn't let go of you though already knowing that you wanted to continue.

"I'm not even here for Christmas I'm going home," Frenkie said. He only said he was going home because he offered you to go home with him but for starters, you wanted to see your family for Christmas and secondly you and Frenkie weren't official and if you went to meet his family you wanted to be official with him. You've wanted to become official with him for some time and you would've asked him but you weren't internally sure if he wanted to become official so you never did. You probably could ask him about you and him and have a conversation about it but you never have the courage to do it and you would rather be how you and Frenkie are now then have nothing with him.

"I even put Kerstkransjes on the Christmas tree knowing how much you miss the Netherlands." You stated dragging Frenkie into the living room to show him the Christmas tree. The living room was the most decorated room since it was the room that the majority of people go into so you had to make that room the best decorated. The tinsel was on top of the fireplace, around the mirror, on the table and around the pictures that were hanging up in the living room. The tree was in the corner decorated with a lot of different decorations with presents already placed under the tree. The tree was decorated with a lot of different things but not enough that it looked overly crowded. There was a lot of Kerstkransjes placed around the tree. Enough for both you and Frenkie to eat them and them to still be on the tree for decoration.
