Day 1 of Countdown to Christmas

It was the 1st of December and what does that mean. It's finally acceptable to play Christmas music, put up the Christmas decorations and actually wear Christmas jumpers. So that's what Y/N was doing. She was in her kitchen cooking dinner for herself and Virgil for when he gets home from training. She had a Christmas jumper on. One that Y/N had to buy new because of the baby bump she now had so none of her other ones would fit her. Y/N's bump wasn't that big but with the other jumpers it was a bit tight and she didn't like that so she had to buy a new one and she was going shopping anyway so she thought 'why not'. She put the food into the oven before setting a timer so she knew when it would be ready and wouldn't overcook it. She decided to do some of the dishes now but before that Y/N put on the radio which was playing Christmas music. As the music was playing she done the dishes whilst humming along to the song. Once she washed the dishes you just stood in the kitchen and started to sing the song that was playing on the radio.

It didn't take long till Y/N started dancing around the kitchen as well but being careful so she wouldn't knock anything over. Or fall over. She's been known to do that a lot as well. She was singing at the top of her lungs probably making her neighbours deaf and she was dancing with one of the worst dance moves that she knows. Y/N didn't care though nobody else was in the house to judge her as it was only her and Virgil and Virgil had training because he had to get ready for his game.

"What are you doing?" Virgil asked laughing when he made it to the kitchen, he had stood there for a bit not saying anything but after a while, he knew he had to say something. She stopped in her tracks turning around to face the door. Y/N did not hear Virgil coming in. She turned off the music or turned it down so she could actually speak to Virgil.

"You know you shouldn't scare a pregnant woman the baby could come early," Y/N asked Virgil with a hand on her chest from the shock she received. She was still trying to figure out what she was doing herself so that seemed like a good thing to tell him and it's what came out of her mouth.

"Sorry, and I don't think our baby will come this early from shock but anyway what were you doing?" Virgil laughed at her shock. He thought she heard him come in but obviously not.

"Ehhh, making dinner," Y/N said making it seem like that was all she was doing and Virgil was just seeing things.

"That didn't look like making dinner." Virgil laughed. Y/N just shrugged her shoulders before turning the music up again. She didn't care if Virgil was there so she just continued to sing and dance around the kitchen. Y/N ended up pulling Virgil in to dance with her and he did. He put his arms around her waist just swaying with her. Virgil opened his mouth to say something to her but she quickly cut him off because she remembered that she brought him something too when she went to the shops.

"Ooooo, I've got something for you," Y/N said walking off somewhere in the house to get the present for Virgil. Once she grabbed it she walked back into the kitchen with it behind her back.

"Since you started complaining that you didn't like yours last year. Here." Y/N said passing Virgil the Christmas jumper. He just stared at her.

"Really," He asked her. He was just looking at it like he was trying to get the courage to put it on.

"Yes, put it on," she said to him. He sighed before putting it on over his top. He just looked at her as to say happy and Y/N just nodded her head at him. She could tell he was trying not to laugh at what he looked like because hardly any Christmas jumpers ever look flattering and Virgil's definitely did not.

"Let me take a picture." She said and she could see Virgil wanted to argue against it but he didn't just let you take a picture knowing it would be easier. Y/N took a selfie of her and Virgil in there Christmas jumpers before putting it onto Instagram. He wanted to argue again but she didn't let him. She didn't really put much on it but she thought it was cute so decided to actually post it. Y/N posted it with the caption '1st of December. Last Christmas and run up to as just the two of us before it becomes three' She just sat there eating the meal whilst her phone blew up because she and Virgil hadn't told the fans that Y/N was pregnant so that was what it was all about. She didn't bother looking at them she just spent time with Virgil finishing the meal than watching Christmas movies as it should be on the 1st of December.
