Eden Hazard ~ Real Madrid

It had been a while since Eden and Thorgan had seen each other because of there busy schedules within there own leagues and injury's kept them out of the national team. Thorgan had eventually found time to travel over to Madrid to spend some time with Eden. It was rare that any of them got to do this so it meant a lot to Eden that Thorgan came to visit him.

Shannon was in the kitchen making some lunch for the three of them whilst Eden and Thorgan were playing football outside. Even in the rain it wouldn't stop the brothers from playing what they love together especially because they don't get to play against each other often. It was absolutely pouring it down but they didn't care. All Shannon told them was to be careful because it was very muddy outside because of all the rain and the more mud that there is the more slippery that it is. Shannon was minding her own business finishing off the food when she heard a scream. She quickly placed everything that she had on the table and literally ran outside. She already had shoes on so she didn't need to worry about that.

When Shannon made it outside she saw Thorgan on the floor clutching his ankle with tears pouring out of his eyes. The pain was evident in face as it was all scrunched up. She quickly glanced up at Eden and there were tears in his eyes from hurting Thorgan. Shannon didn't know much about how to deal with broken ankles but she knew they couldn't do anything out in the rain.

"We need to get him inside Eden." Shannon told him. This seemed to knock Eden out of the daze and knock some sense into him. She didn't think that she's ever seen Eden move so fast because he quickly ran straight to Thorgan and put his arm around him to help him up. Shannon quickly followed so Thorgan could lead on her as well and they both helped him hop (on his good foot) into the guest bedroom where Thorgan was staying so they could get it checked out. They helped Thorgan onto the bed and the tears were still falling freely down his face.

"I-I'll call the doctor." Eden said walking away from Thorgan and Shannon so he could call the doctor away from the noise. Shannon stayed with Thorgan trying to make him as comfortable as she could with him having a broken ankle. She also tried to calm him down a little bit but nothing seemed to work because of the amount of pain that Thorgan was feeling. It didn't take long for Eden to come back in with the news of the doctor.

"He said that he has to finish up where he is but he shouldn't be longer then 30 minutes" Eden said when he walked into the room. It wasn't ideal because Thorgan would have to be in pain for longer then Eden wanted. Shannon went back into the kitchen to finish lunch for them and she wanted to let Eden and Thorgan to have some time to themselves for a bit where they could just talk and Eden could probably do a better job at comforting him then she could do. She didn't have much left to do because she had done majority of it before she ran outside to go and help Thorgan. All that Shannon had to do was place it all on the plates so that what she done before taking it back into the spare bedroom so they could eat before the doctor came.

Thorgan ate one bit before he stopped saying that he was feeling sick from all of the pain that running through his ankle. Shannon took the plate and just put it on the bedside table just in case Thorgan wanted it later and she also couldn't be bothered to eat. Eden was reluctantly eating because with each bit he felt as if he would be sick but he was also hungry so he decided to eat. Once Shannon had finished eating the doorbell rang and knowing the only person that would come it was probably the Doctor.

"I'll get the door." Shannon said grabbing all of the plates and placing them in the kitchen where she can just wash them later before going to the door. She opened the door and saw a guy stood there with a big bag. She was guessing that this was the doctor that Eden called.

"I'm Dr. Lewis here for Thorgan Hazard, got called by Eden Hazard." The doctor said to Shannon so that confirmed what she had originally thought.

"Yeah just follow me." Shannon said closing the door once the Dr. Lewis made his way through the door. She showed him the way to the guest bedroom where Thorgan and Eden were in near silence. The only noise that was being made was the sound of Thorgan crying in pain. Eden looked up when he heard someone enter the room and he looked relieved when he saw that the doctor was with Shannon. He moved back a little bit so he wouldn't be in the way of the doctor and he let the doctor do what he does best.

"Your ankle is broken and you will probably be out for a few months. Let me just wrap it up for you so it can get connected back together properly." The doctor said to mainly Thorgan but Eden and Shannon were listening in. Shannon saw Eden wincing every time something bad was mentioned by the doctor. The only reassurance that Shannon could give him was to hold his hand and to try to comfort him the best that she can that way. She knew that Eden wanted to act fine in front of his brother but Shannon could tell that bit by bit he was breaking. Every time the doctor would move Thorgan's foot slightly more tears would fall down his face. Eden was the first one to move and hug Thorgan to try to get the pain off of his mind. Shannon decided to follow him and it seemed like it worked a little bit. Not a lot but any little helps.

Once the doctor finally put the bandage on he passed all the information to Eden so he could read through it and give it to Thorgan when he would leave to go back to Dortmund so he could give them to the club. Eden quickly scanned through them and placed them on the table so he could read through them properly later whilst Shannon was showing the Doctor on the way out.

"I'm so sorry Thor." Eden said tears automatically sprinkling to his eyes. Even when growing up Eden hated injuring any of his brothers and its even worse now since Thorgan has his own career in football. Even with the tears in his eyes Thorgan managed to smile up to his brother.

"It's okay it wasn't you fault." Thorgan said but voice breaking half way through the sentence and his voice was a bit raspy from all of the crying that he has done. Eden just hugged him apologising into his ear and Thorgan just hugged him back. Even if he was upset that he wouldn't be able to play football for a bit he knew it wasn't Eden's fault because he wanted to play football outside so he couldn't blame Eden. Not one bit.

"Let's just watch a movie." Shannon said wanting to get there mids off of what happened outside for a little bit. Both of the boys nodded and Shannon put on the TV and loaded up Netflix so they could pick a film to watch. Eden and Shannon both made it on to the bed carefully so they wouldn't have to move Thorgan and they could watch the film in that room. Even if it was like 3o'clock Thorgan was falling asleep because the medicine that the doctors gave him makes him drowsy but Shannon and Eden stayed with him wanting to give him some comfort because that's what he needed right now.

When Thorgan was asleep Shannon poked Eden and pointed to the door. He nodded and grabbed the papers that he put on the bedside table and then started to get up carefully trying not to wake Thorgan up whilst Shannon turned off the TV. They made it to the bedroom and Eden instantly collapsed onto the bed. Even though Shannon and Thorgan had both told him numerous of times that it wasn't his fault he didn't believe them.

"You've got to believe us Eden, Thorgan breaking his ankle wasn't your fault" Shannon said sitting next to where Eden collapsed and started rubbing his back a little bit.

"I know but I still feel like it's my own fault. I'm his older brother I'm meant to stop things like that." Eden whines but Shannon struggled to hear because his head was buried in the pillows. She did hear him though. Just. Shannon decided to lay down next to Eden and cuddle into him. Eden's head moved from being stuffed into the pillow and moved it to Shannon's shoulder. Shannon just held him for a little bit knowing that he had to get all of the guilt out of his system before he would start believing Shannon and Thorgan.

"Thank you. Not just for me but for looking after Thorgan as well." Eden finally said after a few minutes of silence. He also looked up at Shannon as he said that. Shannon just smiled at him before leaning in to kiss him softly and Eden instantly kissed back. If you love someone you will do anything to help them or there family as there family becomes your own family.
