Day 17 of CountDown to Christmas

You groaned to yourself as soon as you looked out of the window. Your dog needed a walk but it seemed like last night it was snowing. A lot might you add. You didn't mind snow but walking your dog out in it was a drag. It would be cold and wet and probably uncomfortable but you had to take your dog out. Since there was snow you knew that it was also going to be icy and, to be honest, you're probably one of the most clumsy people around. You would trip over air- There was no doubt that you were going to fall over but you couldn't keep your dog locked in the house just because it was snowing.

You got dressed into warm clothes that would be comfortable to wear in the snow and you would be able to walk fine in. You grabbed a pair of jeans, a top and a jumper quickly putting them all on before grabbing your coat and a hat to put them on as well. You then went and grabbed a thick pair of socks and pulled them over your jeans so they wouldn't fall down and then you grabbed a pair of wellies. Once you were dressed and fully ready to go you picked up everything that you would need for the dog you grabbed its lead before calling its name. It came running to you instantly and you put the lead on before making sure you have everything before actually leaving the house. You made sure to lock the door before beginning on your walk allowing the dog to lead. To begin with anyway.

It was very peaceful to walk out in the snow you found. There weren't a lot of people out other than the occasional kids who were playing in the snow. Some of them were building snowmen, others were making snow angels from what it looked like, whilst some were having a snowball fight. They were making the most out of the snow. There were no cars on the road since the snow was too thick so it would be dangerous to try to drive around. Yes, the roads were somewhat clear of snow but it didn't mean that they weren't icy and that could arguably be more dangerous since you can easily lose control of the car. It was nice not hearing the car sounds for once. The only noises around were the ones of the children laughing and screaming. It was somewhat refreshing.

All of a sudden when you were walking and not paying attention you felt something hit your face. You couldn't quite work out what it was but you're guessing that it was snow considering how cold it felt when it hit your skin. You also saw some snow on your coat so you're guessing that it was snow. You couldn't even properly register what had happened before you heard somebody shouting.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," This guy said running over to where you were standing still in shock. Your head turned to face him instantly and you couldn't lie he was good-looking and looked about your age. He wasn't dressed in anything that you would wear if you were going out in the snow. He had a plain white t-shirt on and a pair of back shorts with a badge on that you recognised as Borussia Dortmunds, the local football team, you didn't watch football enough to know anything else but you knew the badge. He also didn't have any shoes or socks on so his feet must be freezing standing in the snow barefoot.

"What happened?" You asked. Obviously, you knew that you got hit in the face with snow but you still wanted to know what exactly happened and why the hell snow was thrown at you.

"You were walking your dog by my house and I was aiming to hit the tree behind you with a snowball but I just nailed you in the face. I'm so sorry do you want hot chocolate?" Jadon frantically tried explaining. He felt so bad about throwing a snowball at you and he wanted to make it up to you. Firstly he threw a snowball at a random stranger that was walking past and it hit them in the face. Nonetheless, a beautiful stranger who was definitely his type. Secondly, the random stranger had a dog and who doesn't like dogs. Thirdly he wanted to get to know you because you were a beautiful stranger. He knew that it sounded a little bit creepy considering he had no idea who you were and you seemed to have no idea who he was but he couldn't take it back now he had already offered it. He was aware that he could take you to the cafe that was just down the road so the both of you would be out in public but they don't allow dogs in and he wasn't dressed correctly to go out. He was finally aware of how cold it was outside and how cold he was feeling.
