Virginia was held under immense stress from Confederacy because he was the only one actually winning battles.
Ohio was more hesitant about the war early on. (The Copperheads where numerous in border states and places like southern Ohio)
West Virginia was around before he broke off and became a state.
Kentucky went back to Kentucky with the twins because he knew the war had already happened there and that there would be little to no fighting as confederate soldiers where pushed out of the state, and the union soldiers would've already moved on.
Kentucky thought Georgia was dead for so long, and had to tell DC and I.D.C that their other dad had died.
Ohio feels immense guilt for hurting Kentucky and the twins emotionally, he also feels guilty at the fact the he could've hurt them physically.
Ohio doesn't feel guilty for hurting Georgia though.
Kansas was in pain for 5 years because of Bleeding
