November 13, 1999

"Hey," Ville's soothing voice woke me up as he softly shook me. "Time to wake up. We're here."

I stretched out my arms and sat up. "We're here already?"

"Mhm. Actually, just a restaurant, but we're in Florida."

"How nice," I shut my eyes and was about to drift off when Ville caught me. "Sorry."

We got out of the car and leaned up against it waiting for his other band members to arrive.

Ville wrapped his arm around me as he started smoking. "Mikko is the guitarist, Mika is the drummer, Mige is the bassist, and Juska is the keyboardist."

"In your band?"

"Yeah."

"How old are they?"

"They're all around our age."

"You sure?"

"Why would I lie?"

"I don't know."

A car engine pulled up and someone yelled, "HELLO MOTHERFUCKERS!"

"They're here," Ville whispered in my ear.

We turned around and Ville rushed up the guys and hugged them all. It was then that I realized it was already dark outside.

"Adette, come here," Ville waved me over.

I walked up to them. "Hi."

"This is Mikko, Mika, Mige, and Juska."

They all told me hi and shook my head.

"We've heard a lot of stuff about you," Mikko said. "Especially the sex stuff."

I knew that he was lying because Ville and I had not had sex yet. Ville flipped him off and we all walked inside of the restaurant. We quickly sat down and ordered our drinks.

"What time is it?" I asked Ville.

"About nine or so," He replied.

"You drove for so long!"

"It was worth it."

"We switched off," Mika added.

"You staying the full time?" Mikko asked me.

"Yeah," I nodded my head, but then my phone buzzed. "I'll be right back." I walked out of the restaurant and stood by the door. "Hello?"

"She's alive!" My mom shouted.

"Jesus Christ," I chuckled.

"How was the drive?"

"He let me sleep most of the time."

"He drove the whole way there?"

"Yeah. We just arrived."

"That's crazy."

"How was Ashton?"

"He was good. I would have you say hi to him, but he's not here."

"I miss him."

"Maybe you could call Neil or something."

"He's probably asleep right now."

"There's a time difference. Wait, Mom, why are you not asleep right now?!"

"Till and I are watching a movie."

"What movie?"

"No clue. Want to say hi to him?"
