"You're all ready?" I asked Corey as I came out of the bathroom. 

"Yeah," He nodded his head. "You look beautiful."

"You look handsome," I kissed him and hugged him. "I miss Everleigh."

"You miss the crying, too?"

"Nevermind," I chuckled as we walked out of the hotel and started walking. 

"Are we going to the wedding right now?"

"Fuck no. I was thinking of going window shopping."

"Where?"

"At the stores across the street."

He took my hand in his and we walked. 

We went into an ice cream shop and got two ice cream cones. 

"Corey," I said as I sat down. 

"Yeah?"

"I've been having some thoughts lately and I don't know what to do."

"What thoughts?" He put his thumb on my hand. 

"Our relationship is formed on cheating. You had feelings for me when you were married. You left Scarlett for me."

"What about it?"

"Isn't that bad?"

"No. Adette, I'm about to marry the love of my life."

"What if the same thing happens with us?"

"What are you talking about?"

"What if you find another woman that you love more than me and you grow feelings for her?"

"That's not possible."

"I bet that's how you felt with Scarlett."

"There's something different about you, Adette."

"I just don't want you to leave."

"Why would I leave?"

"A different girl!"

"I could be with any other girl in the world right now. But, guess who I'm with."

"Me?"

"You. I'm not going anywhere."

"Okay," I smiled. "I love you."

"I love you more."

The ceremony was spectacular. Missy looked beautiful and Bam actually dressed appropriately. I felt weird being there-like I didn't belong. The only people I knew there were Bam, Missy, and his parents. That's fucking it. At least Corey was there. 

Then came the wedding reception. 

Corey and I went to go walk away from everyone, but then I heard someone scream, "ADETTE!"

I turned around and saw April and Phil. 

"Hi!" I walked over to them and hugged them both for awhile. 

"It has been too long!" April exclaimed. "We haven't seen you since you and Ville split!"

"I know! How have you guys been?"

"Relieved that this wedding actually happened."

"I was surprised when I got an invitation in the mail. I was like, 'Really'?"
