Chapter 90

April 13, 2005

I woke up early and rushed into the kitchen/living room. I sighed as I saw that the big teddy bear was still there and all of the banners and balloons were up. I brushed my hair and teeth, then walked back downstairs.

I shook my head and then there was a knock on the door. This would be the first time someone besides Ashton and I would be coming to my apartment. I opened up the door and my dad and my mom were standing there. 

"Hi!" My mom said. 

"Shh," I whispered, then let them in. "Ash is still asleep."

"Go check on him."

I walked to Ashton's bedroom and saw that he was slowly waking up. 

"Hey Ash," I whispered, softly rubbing his back. 

"Hi, Mommy," He smiled at me, then stood up. 

I hugged him and squealed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"It's my birthday today?!"

"Yeah!"

"Yay!"

"Grandma and Grandpa are downstairs."

His eyes lit up and he ran to the living room. 

"Grandma!" He hugged them. "Grandpa."

"Happy birthday!" They both said. 

"What time is everyone coming at?" My mom asked. 

"Three," I replied. "But, at two, I have to go get the cake and sandwiches."

"That gives us perfect time. Everyone in the car, we have to get my house ready for the party!"

"We need to get ready first," I told Ashton. 

"Okay," He grinned.

Everyone arrived besides Corey and his kids which was fine. 

Melissa and I walked over to Taylor and Sam. 

"Your mom's house is really nice," Sam said. 

"Thanks," I replied. "Thank God she let us have it here because I know for a fact that we would not fit in my apartment."

My mom rushed out of the house and I just ignored her. 

"Is Corey coming?" Taylor asked me. 

I nodded my head. "I don't know where he's at, though."

My mom walked back in and approached me. I gasped as I saw who she brought in-Keanu Reeves. 

"He wanted to come," My mom explained. 

"Nice to meet you," He shook my hand. 

"Oh-Oh-Oh my God!" I exclaimed. "Keanu Reeves is right in front of my fucking face! What?!"

He chuckled and asked, "So, where's the big man?"

"Over here," My mom guided him. 

"Holy shit!" Sam said. "Keanu Reeves?!"

"My mom filmed a movie with him," I told him. "They've been pretty close."

"What if she dates him?!" Melissa nudged my arm. 

"That would be fucking crazy."

"You would be able to casually say, 'Yeah, my mom dates Keanu Reeves'."
