"Are you alright?" I asked my mom once again.

I had been bugging her the whole time I was at the hospital and she was sick of it.

"I'm fine, Adette. Quit asking!"

"I will never stop asking."

"I give up."

Ville came rushing in and got my mom a pair of sunflowers.

"That's all they had in the shop downstairs," He replied.

"Thank you, Ville," She sat up. "I've been meaning to discuss something with you two."

"We both have," Till placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Yes?" Ville walked over to me and leaned against my chair.

"Now, I know you two are older, but make sure you're using protection and-"

"Mom!" I interrupted her. "Stop! No!"

She chuckled. "I'm just kidding. Adette, let me see your hands."

I showed her my hands, and then she gasped. I widened my eyes and pulled my hand away.

"Shit, shit, shit," I muttered.

She cleared her throat. "How long?"

"How long what?" Ville asked.

"How long have you two been engaged for? Till spotted it yesterday, Adette."

"Ville proposed on my graduation day," I murmured.

"Graduation day?!" My mom raised her voice. "Are you fucking kidding me?! That's two months!"

"Congratulations!" Till ran over to us and hugged us.

I was glad that Till was playing along.

"Congratulations," My mom smiled and Ville and I both hugged her. "I love you two."

"We love you, too," Ville said.

"Treat her right, though, okay?"

"And I'll treat him right too," I said.

"Glad we got that settled. How did he propose?"

"Well, he drew me to a cliff, started ranting about me, then got down on one knee and proposed."

"That's sweet."

I hugged Ville and kissed his cheek. Then, I saw Neil and Amelia around the corner, so I shot out of my chair and spread my arms open wide.

"Mommy!" Ashton ran to me and hugged me.

"Hey!" I kissed him all over. "I missed you."

"I got Grandma a card."

"She's right in there," I pointed to her room.

"Okay," He walked inside and I faced both Neil and Amelia.

Neil was a little bit of a grouch after we broke up, but ever since him and Amelia moved in, he was nicer.

"Thanks for bringing him," I smiled.

"Of course," Neil replied.

"Hi," Amelia walked over to me and hugged me. "How have you been?"

"Good," I replied.

"That's good."

"I really like your boyfriend's music."

"Thanks."
