Okay, so...

I wasn't going to do this in the first place but...I had a bunch of really cool ideas and...

Basically...I guess you could call this...the sequel to Replaced...?

Yeah, that's what this is...

Enjoy!

It was a dark, grey, stormy night.

The police were at the apartment, the same one where the Avengers battled. It was the day after the whole incident. A neighbor had come home from a vacation to find the door to the Parker household open and the body on the floor.

The police came and evaluated the scene. They were surprised to discover the corpse wasn't Mr. Parker. "If it isn't him, who is it?" One officer asked his partner.

"We can take a DNA test." His partner replied. She narrowed her eyes at the body. "I get the feeling he's trouble. We have a new case, Harrison."

"How did he die?" Harrison asked. "We can't just assume it was murder, Carrie."

"Are you stupid? Do you not see the gaping hole in his skull?" She gestured to the large hole in the boy's head. "What could have created such a wound on accident?"

"This case seems well above our status." Harrison insisted. "This looks like job for S.H.I.E.L.D., not us." He huffed. Carrie rolled her eyes.

"It isn't above our pay grade until it is said that it--" She stopped when she saw something strange. Perhaps it was a trick of the light? No, that was really happening.

The hole in the boy's head seemed to be closing itself up. "Harry...are you seeing this...?" He followed her gaze and his eyes instantly widened. "Okay, maybe you were right. This is above our pay grade."

The hole fully closed up. The second it did, the boy's eyes snapped open. He stood up, his body making foul cracks as he stood.

Harrison and Carrie had pulled out their guns and were aiming them at the boy. His eyes, which shone red in the moonlight, shifted to the two of them.

Despite her best efforts, Carrie couldn't stop herself from trembling. She had just watched a dead boy come back to life. "What day is it?" The boy asked. "What time, what year?"

"I-It's May 21st, 2022." Harrison choked out. "I-It's 9 o'clock." The boy hummed. He lifted his hand, and suddenly the gun Harrison was holding came flying out of his hand.

"Didn't your mother ever teach you that it is dreadful etiquette to point guns at people?" He asked, tilting his head. Harrison shook with fear. His heart was pounding. The boy's eyes narrowed. "You're scared of me." He mused. "Don't worry, you won't be scared for much longer." His eyes glowed slightly, and Harrison's face was instantly blank, his arms drooping to his sides.

Carrie had the gun aimed at his head. "What did you do to him?!" She yelled. Harrison glared at her.

"Don't touch him." Harrison growled. Carrie lowered the gun slightly in suprise.

"What?!" She exclaimed. Before Carrie knew it, her gun went flying out of her hands. The boy stalked foward.

She backed away, terrified beyond belief. "Wh-Who are you?!" She asked, stumbling and falling down, yet still trying to get away from him. He smirked.

"My name is Joshua Mohr." He smiled sweetly. "And you're in my way." He flicked his hand and Carrie's head span until it was facing backwards. She went limp, dead. "See, that didn't hurt, did it?" He gestured for Harrison to follow him.
