(The royals leave the backstage area and see Garon. He's standing above the dead body of Nestra's duke, Blaise)

Leo: Father! What happened here?!

Garon: The proposal for alliance was denied.

Elise: Is he...?

Garon: All who oppose Nohr must fall. There are no other options for them.

Camilla: What happens next?
