Taehyung's POV
The sun had just set, the only light was that from the moon, casting dark shadows over the city. It's the perfect hunting atmosphere. I sneak around the darkest corners of the city, scouring the streets for tonight's victim. My mouth begins to water at the thought of fresh blood.
Just then, my ears picked up the sound of shoes hitting the pavement. A smirk played at my lips as I hid quietly, waiting for my meal to move closer. The man walked by me, the sweet scent of blood reaching my senses. I could practically feel my fangs lengthening.
I slinked silently, stalking the man, hoping to catch him in a more secluded area. The street is one of the most obvious places to attack and, while convenient, it's a rookie mistake. The man continued out of town and to a trail by the beach.

Perfect.

The sound of the waves crashing on the shore will muffle any sounds he makes. A grin makes it way onto my face as I lunge forward, colliding into someone as I did so. The man seemed startled by the commotion and hurried off.

"Ugh." I grunted, pushing myself up, getting a look at who I ran into.
My brows pulled together, my eye twitching with irritation as my jaw clenched.
"What was that for?!" I growled. "You ruined my dinner."
"Me? Please." She scoffed. "You ruined my dinner. I've been following him for two blocks."
"So have I."
"Then it's no ones fault. Simple as that. We both followed the same guy for the same amount of time and this is merely a coincidence."
"It most certainly is someone's fault." I snapped. "And that someone is you."
"Alright, guy. I'm trying to be nice here." She said, standing up off the concrete sidewalk and dusting her clothes.
"Well I'm not." I snapped, getting to my feet.
"Someone's hangry." She shot sarcastically.
"Hangry? I ought to snap your neck right here."
"Try me." She raised her brows challengingly.
I stepped towards her, my eyes blazing red thanks to her.
She blinked lazily, giving me an unimpressed look.
"Hm." She looked me up and down. "You won't hurt a girl. That's one good thing about you, I guess."
I pressed my lips together to prevent from snapping at her again.
She let out an irritated sigh. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to find something to eat. You see, I'm not very experienced at hunting and I'm starving. So goodbye." She turned on her heel and began walking away.
"Hey!" I called out, causing her to stop.
"Are you a newborn?" I questioned.
"No, I've been alive for a thousand years. Yes, I'm a newborn." She rolled her eyes.
"HA!" I forced a laugh. "In that case, good luck, newbie."
"Screw off. You're probably old anyway." She shot back.
"I'm not old. I was only turned six years ago."
"Whatever." She waved her hand dismissively and began walking off.
My lip curled in disgust as I watched her leave.
"What a headache." I scoffed.

Your POV
After that disaster of an encounter I had last night with that douchebag, I was able to find someone to feed off of. I'm not very good at compelling people, but I was able to do it last night successfully. I got turned a month ago and I still don't have a grasp on, well, anything really.

That guy last night really ticked me off. We just met and he was already snapping at me.
"Jerk." I grumble aloud as I stare at the ceiling.
I'm nice to people if they're nice in return, but if they're gonna snap at me as soon as they meet me, well, I'll return the favor. I don't put up with stuff like that. I haven't encountered many vampires since being turned, but he's definitely the worst. When I ran into him, I got this strange feeling, like I immediately knew he was a vampire too. He could have been a decent guy if it weren't for his attitude and that ugly scowl on his face. I grimaced just thinking about him.

A few days passed and I found myself still thinking about that jerk. Our encounter was brief, but it left a lasting impact on me. Then again, I'm the type of person who can't forget stuff like that so easily. He really rubbed me the wrong way. My fists clenched unconsciously as I think back on the night.
No. No. Calm down.
I shake my head. I don't have control of myself yet and I could easily shift if I get too riled up. I hate being like this. Living as a vampire is so much harder than living as a human. I didn't ask for this—to be this way. I got tangled up in a bad relationship and when I tried to break up with him he "gave me something to remember him by." I feel disgusting every time I look at myself.
I had went out for a short walk, not going anywhere in particular, just needing to clear my head. That didn't work out too well, seeing as all I can think about is my ex and that guy from last night. Too engrossed in my thoughts, I found myself not really paying attention to, well, anything. I felt my shoulder jerk back as I hit someone.
I turn to apologize, not even getting the whole word out when I saw who it was.
"Sorr- it's you." I narrowed my eyes.
"It's you." He shot back, glaring down at me.
"I can't believe this." I hissed. "Of all the places."
"It's not like I live off in another city. I live here too y'know."
I take in a deep breath and start walking off.
"Hey." The man grabbed my wrist, pulling me back. "Don't just walk away."
"And why not?" I ask, stepping towards him, my chest puffing out.
"I'm not done talking to you."
"Well, I'm done talking to you." I snap.
He grabs me again, his eyes flashing red, I can see his fangs just barely peeking out from under his top lip.
"I'm not scared of you." I stated.
"Well, you should be."
I stared up at him, unimpressed with this tough guy thing he has going.
"Don't just stare at me. Say something." He demanded.
"I really didn't wanna run into you." I scowled.
"I didn't wanna run into you either."
"Then why do keep pulling me back when I try to leave?" I clenched my jaw.
He looked off for a moment, thinking. His hand dropped back at his side.
"Leave." He snapped.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I said leave."
"Gladly." I huffed, stomping off.
I came out here to clear my head and not think about that guy, yet I ran right into him... again.
