You walked around the set of King of Masked Singer, taking it all in. When you got the call saying you'd be cast on the show, you couldn't contain your excitement. It was a dream come true. You loved the show and always had fun guessing with idol or celebrity was behind the mask. Now, you were selected to be on the celebrity panel of judges... and so was Jin of BTS. Though you were considered a celebrity, you were still a normal person at the end of the day, so of course you were starstruck hearing you'd be on the same panel as him.

You had just gotten your hair and makeup done for the first episode and was preparing to film. While you waited for the other panelists, you took the opportunity to explore the set. You walked around, still in disbelief that you were able to be on the set. You took a step back to get a better look at the stage, bumping into someone in the process.
"Oh!" You exclaimed. "I'm so sorry."
"It's fine."
You paused, turning to see who it was you'd bumped into. Your hand clamped over your mouth as you gasped.
It was Jin.
"Oh my gosh." You bowed your head. "I'm so sorry. I was so caught up in all this, I wasn't paying attention."
"It's okay." He chuckled. "Really. I totally get it. It's kind of surreal being here, isn't it?"
"It is. I've been watching this show for years. I honestly can't believe I was invited to be a judge."
"Same here. It feels like a dream to be standing here."
"You're a member of most famous Kpop group in the world. How are you surprised you got invited?" You asked.
"I just don't see myself as the big celebrity everyone thinks I am." He smiled shyly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Wow. You're exactly like the videos online."
"Videos?" He questioned.
Your heart dropped to your feet. You hadn't realized what you said, let alone who you said it to.
"Ah. I've seen videos and interviews of your group and I just meant that you're the same person on camera and off camera."
He smiled. "So you watch videos of my group?"
You looked away, embarrassed. "I'm a big fan." You admitted, quietly.
"Wow. I can't believe the Y/n is a fan of mine." He placed his hand on his chest, clutching it.
"What?" You chuckled. "You don't have to lie."
"I'm not. I love your work. I've seen every movie you were in."
"Seriously?"
He nodded.
"Thank you. That's quite the compliment coming from you. Though, I haven't quite made it to your level yet."
"What do you mean? You've won so many awards and been on many magazine covers. I say you're doing pretty good." He told you.
"Thank you, really. It's hard to believe someone I admire so much feels the same about me." You smiled.
Truthfully, you were downplaying how you really felt. On the inside you were screaming at the top of your lungs and fangirling to no end.

Just then, one of the crew members called for the panel to take their seats.
"That's our cue." Jin gave you a light nudge. "Let's go."
You followed him to the rows of seats lined up for the panelists. As if things couldn't get any better, your seat was right beside Jin's. You tried not to show your excitement, keeping a straight face as the cameras began rolling.

The host came strolling onto the stage as the crowd cheered. He opened the show and introduced the panel of celebrity judges before bringing out the first two contestants, both wearing elaborate masks. One of them wore a metallic blue bodysuit with a metallic pink skirt that looked very space-like, and a sparkly mask depicting an alien face. The other contestant had on an ensemble that represented a pirate while donning a goofy-looking mask that seemed like a cartoonish depiction of Jack Sparrow.

A song began to play and the two standing on stage started to sing, each one getting a chance to showcase their singing talents. You knew that one of the two contestants was a girl, the other a boy.
Your eyes closed as you listened carefully to each voice, trying to figure out if you could pick out any familiar vocals.
Before you knew it, the song had ended and you found yourself wondering which famous celebrities you had just heard.
