You slumped over on the couch, a sigh slipping past your lips as your eyes closed. Hoseok was in his studio on vlive, chatting with fans. You gave him his privacy, leaving him to spend time with army while you chose to spend your time in the lounge, stretched out on the massive couch. You were just about to doze off when suddenly, the door burst open and in walked (more like stumbled) Hoseok. His cheeks were a deep shade of pink as drunken giggles escaped him, his balance clearly off as he approached you.

"Hi, sunflower." He chuckled.
"Hobi. Are you done with your live?"
"Mhm." He nodded. "It was so much fun."
"Did you drink?"
"A little." He giggled, holding up the universal hand gesture for a little.
You knew he had more than what he said. You also knew you'd have to deal with him back at home, but you didn't mind. You loved Hoseok with all your being and were willing to deal with him. Plus, drunk Hoseok was fun.

Normally, when Hoseok drank, he was fairly chill and often times ended up zoning out, but tonight was different. He was all bubbly and clingy—well, clingier than normal. You didn't mind it in the slightest, in fact, you thought it was insanely adorable and secretly loved all the attention he was giving you.

"My Y/n." He slurred, letting a few giggles slip past his lips as he dropped down on the couch beside you. "I love you."
"I love you too."
He leaned over on you, nuzzling his head in the crook of your neck where he began placing sloppy kisses against your skin. Your eyelids fluttered slightly in response to his actions. His hand came to rest on your thigh, his thumb rubbing up and down in a loving manner.
You allowed yourself to indulge and enjoy the affection Hoseok was giving to you. Your head leaned slightly, giving him more access to your neck. He would giggle in between each kiss, sending a shiver down your spine.

"We should head home soon." You managed to say.
"Aww." He frowned. "But I'm having a good time here."
"But wouldn't you rather be at home where you can lie in bed?"
"Mmm. Bed." He hummed.
"Alright. Let's go, then." You coaxed him off the couch, helping him stand up.
The two of you made your way into the elevator and down to the lobby where you helped Hoseok into the car.
He slumped down in the seat and began fumbling with the buckle, trying to get himself secured. You let out a chuckle.
"Let me help."
You took the seatbelt, buckling him in with ease before going to the driver side.
"Okay. Back home we go."
You put the car in drive and pulled out onto the road. The radio was playing a popular song, the music playing softly through the speakers.
"I love this song." Hoseok spoke up excitedly, turning the volume up.
He then started singing along, his voice surprisingly good, despite his drunken state.
You allowed him to enjoy himself, letting him sing to his heart's content.

At some point, as you drove down the street, you couldn't help but notice the silence hanging in the air. Assuming Hoseok had fallen asleep, you kept your eyes on the road, turning down the street the two of you lived on. Wanting to check on Hoseok, you took a moment and turned to him, but he wasn't sleeping like you had assumed. Instead, he was staring ahead, his gaze looking distant. The best way to describe his current state was that the group's powerhouse was currently experiencing an energy shortage, which often happened when he drank.

So it finally hit him. You thought to yourself.

You wondered how long it would take for the initial effects of the alcohol would wear off.
It always happens. He starts out hyped up, then once the alcohol really hits, he gets quiet and tends to zone out a lot, only having a moment or two where he has a burst of energy.

"How are you feeling?" You asked him.
"Fine." He responded, his voice sounding relaxed.
"We're almost home. It should only be about five more minutes."
"Okay." He nodded.

It was exactly five minutes before you arrived at your home. After parking the vehicle, you helped Hoseok out, the both of you walking up to the front door. Even in his drunken state, Hoseok was able to walk without stumbling too much, which you were thankful for. You weren't sure what you would have done if you had to carry him inside.

Once in your house, Hoseok went straight to the bedroom, kicking his shoes off and flopping face first onto the bed.
"M'tired." He mumbled into the comforter, his voice muffled.
"I'm sure you are." You responded, running your fingers through his hair.
He hummed contently in response to your actions, the feeling of you playing with his locks soothing him.
You got up from your spot on the bed and began pulling your drunken boyfriend's shoes off, wanting him to be comfortable. He let out a grunt as you tugged, struggling with one of his shoes. Once his foot slipped out, you stumbled back from the force of it, nearly losing your footing. You managed to catch yourself, tossing Hoseok's shoe to the side with the other one.

"You wanna change into your pajamas?" You asked him.
He rolled over on his back and pushed himself into a sitting position, raising his arms. This was an obvious indication that he wanted you to remove his shirt for him. With a stifled chuckle, you grabbed the hem of his t-shirt and pulled it over his head, exposing his bare abdomen as well as a dainty, silver chain that draped over his collarbones, glimmering in the dim lamplight.
He managed to stand up and take his pants off on his own. You gathered his clothes and tossed them into the hamper sitting in the corner of the room. Once you turned around, Hoseok was under the covers with his eyes closed. You grinned, walking over to your shared bed.
"You don't wanna change into your pajamas?"
He shook his head. "I'm comfortable like this."
"If you say so."

You kicked your shoes off, your bare feet shuffling against the carpet as you went to the dresser to retrieve your pajamas, which usually consisted of shorts and one of Hoseok's shirts. After getting comfortable, you began making your way to the bathroom.
"What are you doing?" Hoseok asked, his voice sounding both whiny and drowsy.
"I'm just getting ready for bed, sunshine." You told him. "I won't be long."
He pouted. "Hurry back."
"I will." You assured him, slipping out of the room.

By the time you finished brushing your teeth and washing up, you expected Hoseok to be fast asleep, but he wasn't. He was, however, barely hanging on to consciousness, visibly fighting sleep.
You weren't even halfway to the bed when Hoseok started making grabby hands at you, begging for you to lie down beside him. You turned off the bedside lamp and slid underneath the covers, the bed welcoming you with open arms. Hoseok immediately shuffled closer, his limbs entangling themselves with yours as he snuggled into you, his head resting comfortably in the crook of your neck. A soft smile tugged at your lips as you brought your hands to his head, running rough fingers through his fluffy and bouncy chestnut-colored locks.

"I hope you don't have a hangover tomorrow from all the drinking you did." You murmured, softly.
"If I do, I know you'll take care of me."
Your smile grew. He was right. Even if he was miserable the next day, ridden with a hangover, you'd be right by his side to make sure he was taken care of.
