Yoongi ♡ Shifting to Hogwarts [request]

"Alright, everyone pay attention. We've been learning about Nifflers for a couple weeks now, so your assignment will be to take care of one."
Your eyes widened as delight bubbled up inside you.
"Did you hear that? We get to take care of a Niffler." You whispered excitedly to Yoongi, who was seated beside you.
He gave you a small smile and nodded, endeared by your giddiness.
"You'll be partnering up for this project, so go ahead and pick partners." Your teacher added.
Yoongi turned to you immediately. "Do you... want to partner up?" He asked in an almost unsure manner.
"Of course I do." You responded, trying to hide your excitement. "I wouldn't wanna be partners with anyone else."
Yoongi smiled at that.

Once everyone was partnered up, your teacher brought in a large container that held the Nifflers.
"Everyone come up here with your partners and pick one out."
One by one, each duo went to pick out their Niffler, as they did so, your teacher explained that you and your partner would be taking care of the creatures for a full day.
You and Yoongi walked up, glancing into the container. One of the Nifflers looked up at you, crawling over. You shared a surprised look with Yoongi.
"I think it likes you." He chuckled.
You reached into the box and pulled the little Niffler out, holding it close as you returned to your seat, Yoongi following behind.

Since you'd been learning about the adorable little creatures, you and your partner were able to identify its gender immediately.
"Ah. So he's a handsome young man." You cooed.
The Niffler looked up at you, blinking a few times. Yoongi flashed his gummy smile as he reached over to scratch the top of the creature's head. The Niffler's eyes followed Yoongi's hand, his gaze locked on the silver rings adorning Yoongi's fingers. The Niffler's little hands reached up for the rings, trying to grab onto them, causing Yoongi to chuckle.
"You made a mistake wearing those rings." You snickered.
He grinned in response, watching amusedly as the Niffler's eyes followed his rings.
"I wish you all good luck." Your teacher spoke up. "I'm sure you'll do great. You've all done excellent so far. Class is dismissed."
You stood up, keeping the Niffler in your arms.
"I can carry your book for you if you'd like." Yoongi offered.
"That's fine. It's just one book."
"You sure?"
You nodded, grabbing your book with your free hand as the both of you left the classroom. You had a free period, so you and Yoongi chose to sit under a shady tree and feed the Niffler.

"I never imagined these creatures would be so cute." Yoongi commented, giving the Niffler a gentle tummy rub, the creature once again reaching for his rings.
"You should probably take those off."
He glanced down at the rings on his fingers, three on one hand, two on the other. After brief contemplation, he removed the rings, shoving them into his pocket out of sight. After the shiny objects were put away, the Niffler seemed to calm down a bit, relaxing in your arms.
"This'll be easy." You commented.
"I hope so."
"As long as any shiny objects are out of sight, everything should be fine. Nifflers are very docile creatures, after all."

At some point during your little relaxing session under the tree, the Niffler began to stir, crawling out of your arms. You allowed him to do so, making sure to keep a close eye on him. You thought he would start wandering around in the grass, but he went right over to Yoongi.
His eyes widened, sparkling with joy as the creature crawled into his lap, clutching onto his wizard robes, trying to get closer. Yoongi cooed in response as the Niffler snuggled up to him, his snout nuzzling in the crook of Yoongi's neck.
"That's adorable." You gushed, reaching over to stroke the Niffler's back. "I knew they were cuddly, but I never knew how much."
"Me either. I want one."
You laughed in response.
"So, which one of us is gonna keep him overnight?"
"Ah. I didn't think about that." You murmured. "It seems like he likes you pretty well. You think you can handle it?"
Yoongi let out a scoff, smirking as he responded. "Of course I can."
"Alright then."
