"What do you mean, Zhehan?" Yang Yang's voice was calm despite him being disappointed. He wasn't expecting this cold attitude from the man he had been yearning for the whole evening.
"I am talking about the matching pictures of you and Deng Lun. Can you explain the similarities?" Zhang Zhehan tried to keep his voice calm and rational. He knew that he had to keep his emotions under control. It was a struggle, but he had to press on.
Yang Yang took a deep breath, trying to contain his consternation. He willed down the irritation which threatened to snap his patience.
I have to be considerate. Zhehan is going through a tough time right now and not thinking straight. He painstakingly explained the obvious. "Those umbrellas belonged to the hotel, everyone was using them. And everyone was taking pictures around the resort, so it is no surprise that the backdrops are duplicated."
"Whatever pictures Deng Lun took, they are all coincidences. Just like half of us were in the hotel pool, the other half was at the beach, and I'm sure some took pictures in the hammock too."
