Cramped Kisses

"Alright what next?" Zoe asks
You, Zoe, Alfie, Marcus, Mark, Tanya, Jim and Joe had all come together for a big sleepover to celebrate the end of Year 11 at school
"How about good old hide and seek?" Jim grins
You all laugh but end up agreeing to the game
Zoe and Alfie decide they will be the seekers first and everyone disperses in the house to find their hiding spaces
You end up running into a small closet you didn't really know existed in the Sugg house and quickly squished yourself inside. Luckily, you fit in well and proceeded to patiently wait to be found
Your dark peace was broken as someone burst open the door and froze, "Oh for God's sake!" Joe exclaims quietly
"What are you doing? Go somewhere else!" You wave him off
"10...9...8...7" You hear Alfie yelling and Joe shakes his head
"No come on let me in!" He pleads
"There's not enough room!" You gesture to the minimal space around you
"Right you get out and then we can sort it out" He nods and you groan, crawling out of the space
Joe clambers in and sticks out both of his legs as much as he can. You shuffle in and he moves you to sit, facing him, in the space between his legs
"This is comfortable" You chuckle and see him blush, matching the current colour of your cheeks
"Yeah I guess so" He smiles
"Are they coming?" You hiss and just as you do, you hear two pairs of feet pounding down the corridors to find everyone
"Seems like it" Joe replies but his voice seems slightly afar as his blue orbs focus on the features of your face, fascinated by the beauty he saw
"I think they've" you turn to look at him and pause mid sentence when you see the look on his face
His lips were slightly parted, his hair askew in the struggle to get in here and the pink in his cheeks was still evident
Slowly but surely these features come closer to you as Joe leans in and you find yourself doing the same. In the split moment your lips meet, everything fits. The cramped size of the closet or the fact that you were meant to be hiding was completely irrelevant. It was just you and Joe. Your first kiss.
However, the perfection was soon stopped by the creaking of an opening door and the pair of you pulled away from each other to see Zalfie stood in shock on the other side.
Your cheeks redden massively in embarrassment
"We'll just leave this door shut" Alfie smirks, closing the door to the closet to leave you and Joe
"Well, that was a bit awkward" You break the silence and Joe smiles
"You don't say" He says, seeing the shadows of feet leave the door, "Oh, where were we?"
