♡You waited by your phone all day for your parents to call and wish you a happy birthday, but they didn't 

♡You decided to just go celebrate with your friends only to find out they all had plans with each other, so you decided to end this day with an early night  

♡You woke up to Kaminari screaming for you to come down and help, that he has short circuited the breaker again

♡Its not the first time hes done it so you just got up and headed to the kitchen to help him

♡Once you entered the kitchen the lights flicked back on and you saw Kaminari standing by a wonky looking cake 

♡ "Happy Birthday L/n, sorry I tricked you!" You couldn't help but laugh "Thanks Kaminari...im not eating that though." "Oh I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe we can sweet talk one of the teachers into ordering something sweet and actually edible."

♡When Midnight brought the mail you didn't receive anything, ok maybe your parents want to call you so they can wish you a happy birthday "in person"

♡Not a call, text, or face time all day 

♡Your classmates seem to follow this pattern because not a single one even told you happy birthday

♡No big deal, you kept telling yourself

♡You went and did your normal training with Midoriya before showering and now heading up to your dorm room

♡When you opened the door you found Aizawa standing off to the side looking a pictures you had on your wall 

♡You jumped, of course 

♡When he noticed you there he gave you a smile "Sorry about that L/n, didn't mean to be a jump scare."

♡You came in shutting the door behind you as you put your things down "Am I in trouble?" 

♡Once you were told no you calmed down and sat on your bed waiting for him to explain why he was in your room

♡He pointed to a box at your feet "Its your birthday right, open it." You did, and a little black kitten popped out with a little meow "Happy birthday kid."

♡You didn't even bother with hope, just another year your birthday will be forgotten by "friends" and "family"

♡At least you have your new job to keep your mind off it 

♡At the end of the day you two were going back to your car to go home when an arm was slung around your arm "And where do you think your running off to yo!"

♡You gave him a smile "Home, I have test to grade-" He cut you off pulling you towards his car "Grading on your birthday, that just wont do! Come on birdie I got us a reservation at a karaoke bar!"

♡You went all day without anyone even wishing you a happy birthday and you wont lie it was kinda disappointing 

♡You excused yourself from eating with the rest of 1A under the pretenses of feeling sick 

♡When you got to your room you found a {favorite flavor} cupcake and a yellow little bag 

♡You picked up the bag and found a tag "Happy Birthday kiddo!! - Your favorite teacher yo! and Aizawa-sensei"

♡When you opened the bag you found a new winter jacket and Polaroid camera 

♡You couldn't help but smile as you took a bite of the cupcake
