It was...strange.
You were sitting on the couch trying to enjoy some fresh tea before bed when he sat himself next to you, but your body didn't tense or finch, instead you scooted a bit closer and even leaned into him. Once he noticed this change he slowly wrapped his arm around you and for the first time, his touch didn't feel like fire burning your skin.
You two spent hours like that and it was, nice. It was nice to be held, to be loved, to be wanted.
Yes, it's strange, but it's nice.
