Can't Wait To Ask Him Out (WroetoZerk)

Harry's POV

As I walked down the street, heading towards the local shopping centre to meet up with a guy. I couldn't help but feel so nervous. I mean I am only 20 years old, it's not like I'm not use to dating but... I know I'd rather be at home. Or at least I would be if it wasn't for Callux trying to get me out and into the world. I swear those two acted more like parents than friends, but hey, what can you do.

Harry: "God it's cold."

Actually it wasn't too bad, I think I was just making up excuses for me being nervous and shaking like mad. I was fucking shitting myself. I've seen what he looks like and he's really cute but at the same time, I'm kind of. You know. Not.

Harry: "I'll be fine. I just need to breathe and relax. It's a movie, not a marathon. Why was I feeling like this? My palms feel so clamy and sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy.

(DAMN IT HARRY!)

I looked up to see him standing out the front waiting for me. The movie was starting soon so I couldn't exactly back out now. And to solidify the fact that I was going to be seeing it with him and what looked like two friends. I guess that makes me feel better. If he tried anything I could hide behind them right?

Josh: "Hi."

Harry: "Hello."

He looked just as nervous as I was.

????: "Dude your freaking out, relax."

Josh: "Sorry. Harry this is Vik and Simon."

Vik: "It's nice to meet you. And sorry to be that guy but the movie is starting soon."

I nodded in appreciation and followed the boys inside. I watched as Vik dragged Josh away. Making him look back at me in worry.

Simon: "He doesn't shut up about you you know?"

Harry: "Oh really?"

Simon: "Yeah, It's kind of cute. How many times have you two met up?"

Harry: "Uh, three times already."

Simon: "No wonder he can't stop talking to you. Why are you so nervous."

Harry: "I didn't know he was bringing friends along. I got nervous and scared like I have been already."

Simon: "He didn't tell you?"

I watched as Josh finally broke free from Vik and started walking towards us. But Simon had other ideas.

Simon: "Woah there you didn't tell him you were bringing friends? He could have brought someone along with him as well."

Josh: "I thought I had mentioned it."

Simon: "Well you didn't."

Josh: "Well I'm sorry I didn't mention it."

He walked over and slid his hand carefully into mine. Pulling me slowly towards the popcorn and snack bar.

Josh: "Grab whatever you like."

Harry: "What?"

Josh: "To say I'm sorry. Grab whatever you like."

Harry: "Josh I can pay for myself it's ok."

Josh: "I don't want to give you a choice right now. I want you to grab something and I'll pay for it ok?"

Simon: "Take the deal he doesn't buy us shit."

Harry: "Uh."

Vik: "Simon's right, if he offers, take it."

Harry: "Oh. Ok."

I grabbed a large box of popcorn to share with Josh and a drink. He payed for the snacks but also payed for my ticket too... Is this another date? As we headed towards the cinema, i couldn't help but look up towards him and admire him. Feeling hear flush to my cheeks.

Simon: "Get in."

I felt Simon push the two of us into the screening room. After a few minutes of looking. Josh found two available seats. Separating us from Simon and Vik. I guess that was the plan all along. As we took our seats. He held onto the popcorn until I was comfortable and placed my drink into the holder. It should have been fun but I was still nervous. When i sat down I couldn't look at him for some reason, i just felt scared. Until he grabbed my hand in his and held it tight. I looked over at him and watched as he stared into my eyes, a soft and almost frightened look on his face.

Josh: "Harry I am just as nervous and scared as you are. After a few dates already, I think I might be enjoying myself a bit more than to just call you a friend, you are wonderful, beautiful as hell and one of the sweetest guys I know. I'm sorry I forgot to send the message about my friends. I really am but. I'm glad I got to spend time with you."

Not long after me being speechless for a moment, the movie started to play the usual ads it does and trailers before the actual film. I couldn't help but think how genuine he sounded. How happy he was. As the movie began, i saw him facing the screen, so I leaned in and kissed him quickly on the cheek. Even in such low lighting I could see the blush rise on his cheeks. A few seconds later. I made myself comfortable and leaned my head over, resting it lightly on his shoulder. Feeling him turn slightly and kiss my forehead. I felt my nerves wash away as I was comfortable with him. If this is what dating feels like. I can't wait to ask him out.
