New Zealand's POV:

I heard UK's car drive off. I sat alone in the cold, counting the number of bottles on the shelves. I got bored really quick and started walking around in circles. There was nothing to do.

After almost an hour of boredom, I heard footsteps approaching the front door. I walked over to the window I had and looked out. A boy wearing a flower crown walked up to the door and knocked.

The door opened quickly, but I couldn't see who answered it. Well, not until, he stepped outside and closed the door. I watched as Canada hugged the boy in the flower crown.

"Nada," The boy laughed as he pushed Canada away.

"It's good to see you again, Ukraine," Canada said smiling. They looked happy. I guess Canada does have other friends.

"Is your dad home?" Ukraine asked.

"No, but, my brothers are. Anyway, we had better leave before they come to the door,"

"Won't they notice you are missing?"

"They hardly even know I exist, let's go," Canada said as he grabbed Ukraine's hand. Ukraine went a little red, maybe he was sick. Canada seemed to ignore it though and started walking towards the street. Before I knew it, they were gone.

"Maybe I will have a friend like that when I grow up," I thought out loud. It was a nice thought, but right now, I was stuck in a room full of bottles with nothing to do.

Another hour past and I was starting to get hungry. I had finished my toast, so there was nothing more to eat. As time passed, I got hungrier and hungrier. And a little bit thirsty. Even though the not juice tasted terrible, it seemed better than nothing.

I found the bottle I had already taken a sip out of and unscrewed the cap. I closed my eyes and brought the bottle to my lips. As soon as the liquid entered my mouth I dropped the bottle and spat out the not juice.

The bottle smashed on the ground and the red liquid got everywhere. The glass didn't cut me, luckily. I stepped away from the glass and liquid. I looked down at the new red stains on my clothes.

"UK is going to kill me," I said to myself feeling kind of scared. The shattering sound was loud and would surely draw attention to people nearby. I heard a knock on the door and turned my head to face it.

"Kiwi! Is that you?" It was Australia.

"Aussie! I'm in here!" I shouted back to him. I could hear him trying to open the door.

"I think it's locked," I said trying to be helpful.

"Yeah, no sh!t, Kiwi," He shouted. Despite knowing it was locked, Aussie seemed to be running into the door as if he could knock it down. When he finally stopped I could hear him groan in pain. I mean, I would be in pain too if I kept ramming into the door.

"Are you okay? I heard something smash," He asked through the door.

"I think so, the bottle of juice just slipped out of my hands when I tried to drink some," I explained. I got no reply from him. Just a couple minutes of silence before he said something.

"Kiwi... that wasn't juice," He said sounding serious.

Canada's POV:

It had been a while since I had seen Ukraine. I was so happy to see him again. He was one of my closest friends even though our parents don't want us to talk to each other. That's why Mum and Dad don't know about us.

Ukraine seemed to be the only one who cared for and remembered me. It was always nice talking to him. We started walking to the park as we did every time. It was a nice place to hang out and not many people went there.

"So I heard you have a new sister," Ukraine said.

"What?" I was confused.

"You have a new sister, right?"

"You must be confused," I said.

"Oh, well Bela came home talking about a girl that looked your brother last night. She said her name was Kiwi," He explained.

"Oh! You mean New Zealand!" I realised who he was talking about.

"Is that her name?"

"Yeah, Kiwi is a nickname Aussie started calling uh... her," I said remembering that New Zealand was wearing girls clothes that night. I decided to go along with the fact that they thought he was a girl.

"So is she like, Australia's twin sister?"

"No, she was actually adopted from another family, their appearance was just a coincidence," I laughed. Ukraine nodded and smiled. We reached the playground and sat on the swings.

"So, how have you been lately?" I asked politely.

"Everything's just the same, nothing really happens unless Dad is drunk," He sounded kind of sad. They didn't have a very kind father either. At least, the only drinking problem Dad has is with his tea. But, Ukraine had it worse. His Dad was an alcoholic.

We sat on the swings for a long time just talking about our interests and other things. I heard his stomach grumble and invited him over for something to eat as it was almost lunchtime. He tried to refuse, but I managed to convince him to come over.

We walked back to the house and sneaked in around the back. I made sure my brothers weren't in the kitchen before I let Ukraine in. I got him to sit down at the kitchen bench while I made him a sandwich. We sat down and continued talking.

"Canada? Is that you?" Aussie called from what seemed to be the cellar. I heard him climbing the stairs. I had a moment of panic as I heard him enter the kitchen. He looked at Ukraine and then back at me.

"Canada, why is there a communist in the kitchen?" He said slightly confused and slightly threatening.

"You say a word to Dad and I will tell him about the money you stole!" I said back.

"How did you know?!"

"Wait. You stole from Dad, again?"

"Sh!t! You are telling me you didn't know!"

"It was a guess," I shrugged.

"Fine, I won't tell UK!" He said as walked out of the kitchen.

"Oh yeah! Kiwi is in the cellar and I believe he has gotten into the wine," Aussie said poking his head into the kitchen.

"WHAT?!"
