Previously on Friday, 25 of August 1995 Bloom was asked by Sienna Noemi and Gia Ilaria had asked her to check the fire exstinguisher's nozzles before they filled up the fire extinguisher and put the nozzles back on. They were very careful about making sure the nozzles weren't blocked. In the back compartment of the fire truck four different types of filled up fire extinguishers were stored in different sections of the divided storage compartment, one kept cold by liquid nitrogen which in which Dry Chemical Filled Fire Extinguishers were stored and ones you should use only in a laboratory fire if you feel comfortable with the risk of it ruining your equipment. Then there were Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers only to be to be used in well ventillated areas And lastly water filled fire extinguishers that should never be used in a laboratory.

I had cleaned all the Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers nozzles, pipework and horn but I did with gloves and a mask on and a protective lab coat, and ontop of the mask over my mouth and nose, I also wore a face shield and believe me it is not easy. The more complicated thing than a normal fire is CO2 is that is a gas that can burn and freeze you at the same; it admits a cold burning sensation. Which is why they're not commonly used amongst residental areas there isn't much ventilation in townhouses. Most fires we used dry water mist spray extinguishers or foam extinguishers which would not damage much equipment. There isn't really a good way of extinguisher electrical fires without losing something partially in return. At least it has yet to be invented. Fires are caused by three things that make up what everyone should know as the Fire Triangle,
#1 Oxygen #2 Fuel and #3 Heat. Take one of those necessities away and you have no fires. Dry Water Mist Extinguishers make the available oxygen powering flames disappear and so the fire is stopped because lack of being able to breathe. That's one things fires have in common with us humans we both have to be able to keep breathing to remain as we are awake and feeling very alive. I had checked the rest of the equipment nozzle horns and pipeworks on most of the unusual fire exstinguishers and moved on finally to the dry water mist fire extinguisher which I could check without using as much safety gear. The labcoat I had been wearing was made with a protective the against the cold of Carbon Dioxide and to remain somewhat heatproof against its burns protecting my skin.
