Matt's POV
I arrive at Liz's house ready for the party. I knock on the door.

"One second!" Liz yells from inside.

"Don't worry, I'll get it." A man says and a latino man opens the door. "Hi, I'm Rafael. Liz has her hands in pasta right now."

"Thanks." I laugh, walking in. "I'm Matt."

"Ohh, Matt Bennett. Liz talks about you all the time." Rafael smiles.

"Really?" I ask.

"Are you kidding? She never shuts up about you." He laughs as we walk into the kitchen.

"Matt!" Liz smiles, dropping the glass in her hand into the sink.

"Hey bestie." I smile and she hugs me, then kisses my cheek.

"I've missed you so much, Matt. I wish we didn't live so far away from each other." She says, pulling back from our hug and getting drinks from one of the refrigerators.

"Wow, you expecting the whole state of Georgia to come over?" I ask and she laughs.

"No, I just haven't hosted in a really long time." She says. "I don't know how much people will drink."

"Rumour has it you've got a pool table." Ariana says, walking in.

"It's not a rumour." Liz says.

"Then I'm excited to beat your ass at it." Ari smiles.

"You're on!" Liz says, picking up a glass of red wine.

"What about me?" I ask, getting my glass from the counter.

"You suck at pool." Ari says and Liz laughs.

"I do not!" I pout.

"Yes you do." Liz laughs, patting my chest.

The front door knocks. Liz goes to answer it and then comes back with a man.

"Hey everyone. I'm Adam." He smiles waving.

"Adam, come to the backyard right now!" Maddison squeals, running in and dragging him out with her.

"She's on her third drink already." Liz rolls her eyes and me and Ariana pick up our drinks.

"Who else are you expecting tonight?" Ariana asks as we walk to the games room.

"Kristin, Chelsea, Elaine, Sam A and Eliza." Liz says.

"I'll play you first." Ariana says to me, picking up a pool cue.

"I'll get some snacks." Liz says and heads to the kitchen.

Timeskip

Everyone's drunk, or at the least very tipsy. I'm watching Liz and Rafael sing karaoke to 'You're the one that I want' from Grease.

"The one that I want!" They both finish the song and we all cheer and clap.

"Who's next to play pool?" Kristin asks.

"Me, against Chelsea." Adam slurs.

"Yes! Get ready to loose, Huber." Chelsea says as they walk to the games room.

"I'm not the only one that sees it, right?" I ask.

"See what?" Liz asks.

"They have chemistry." I say.

"They'll have hooked up after tonight." Elaine says.

"Wanna bet?" Eliza asks.

"$20 they do it on the couch." Sam says.
