~NOTES~
I had a request for Liz with ADHD and I was kind of nervous to write it BUT my super cool friend multifan_fics encouraged me to write this and also wrote a chapter on Michael with ADHD! Go check it out. Enjoy :)

Liz's POV
I'm going on a first date with Michael because he asked me out after a few weeks of talking. I walk into the restaurant and see him sat at a table so I walk over there.

"Hi." I smile.

"Hey, how are you?" Michael asks as I sit down.

"I'm good." I nod.

"You look beautiful." Michael smiles and I blush.

"You look great too." I say, checking him out.

"I ordered you a south-side, no ice." Michael gestures to my drink.

"Mm, thank you." I say taking a sip.

"How was work today? Film anything interesting?" Michael asks.

"Ugh, I kept forgetting my lines and the crew were getting pissed and my co-stars didn't mention it but I could tell they were getting frustrated and then we had to reset and it was all kind of a disaster." I rant.

"Damn, sounds rough." Michael says.

The waitress walks over and takes Michael's order before turning to me.

"Could I please get the chilli and lemon salmon with no chilli, no mashed potatoes and I'd like to swap the asparagus for broccoli." I list.

"Sure." The waitress rolls her eyes.

"But can you make it quick please?" I ask and she just walks away.

"Are you in a rush?" Michael chuckles.

"No, just impatient." I say and he laughs. "How was work for you?"

"It was actually not too bad. I was recording in the studio for a TV show which is always pretty cool. There was a couple meetings too but..."

I zone out and fidget with my hands, and then my dress and then the napkin.

"Am I boring you?" Michael asks.

"What? No of course not." I lie quickly.

"Are you sure? You seem kind
of-" Michael starts.

"No! I'm all good." I accidentally interrupt him. "Sorry." I murmur.

"It's okay." Michael says.

"I'm sorry, I'm not good at small talk." I apologise.

"It's not for everyone. Is there something you'd rather talk about?" Michael asks.

"Not specifically. I like deep questions." I say excitedly.

"Oooh, go on." Michael grins.

"I don't know... umm...are your grandparents still alive?" I ask.

"Uh, sorry?" Michael asks shocked.

"It's a deep question." I shrug.

"Yes, they're still alive." Michael says.

"Hmm, okay then. What's your worst childhood memory?" I ask.

"Liz, what kind of questions are these?" Michael asks.

"I'm interested." I frown, fiddling with my nails under the table.

"In my family's death and my childhood trauma?" Michael asks.

"Sorry." I mutter. "I'm going to go to the bathroom, I think."

I stand up and quickly walk to the restroom, pushing open the door and leaning against the counter in front of the mirror.
