⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️
Chapter contains lots of anxiety content.

Liz's POV
I'm walking out of my trailer and Adam walks up to me.

"Hey." Adam smiles, taking one of my bags from me.

"Thanks." I say.

"You alright?" He asks as we walk towards the front of the building.

"Yeah. I mean, no. I feel like I've been having a week long anxiety attack but it's whatever." I say with a laugh.

"Oh, hun. I'm sorry to hear that. I'll take real good care of you tonight." Adam smiles, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me into his side as he kisses my temple.

"Mm, sounds great." I smile, pecking his lips.

"You guys all done?" Derek, our security manager asks as we get to the front.

"Yes, at last." I smile.

"Alright. Enjoy your weekend." Derek says, buzzing us out.

"Thanks man, you too." Adam says.

We walk out of the building and into the parking lot.

"What are all those people doing?" I ask.

In the far left side of the parking lot there's a line of people behind metal barriers with our security team.

"I have no idea." Adam says.

"Let's just get home." I sigh as we walk to Adam's car.

"Elizabeth, Adam, there are people wanting your autograph and pictures with you." Jill, a security member says walking up to us.

"Do we have to go over there?" I ask.

"Producer's orders." Jill says apologetically, holding her hands up in defence.

"It's fine, we'll just sign a few things and take a couple pictures." Adam says to me.

"Jill, five minutes. Ten at the most, that's all we're offering." I say as we get closer to the fans.

"Totally, you two make the decisions." Jill smiles.

We hear the fans screaming louder until we're in front of them.

"Hey guys." Adam smiles.

"Wow, there's a lot of you." I smile as my heart beats faster.

We sign a few portraits, phone cases and one girl's arm and then take around twenty photos with people.

"That's good." Adam nods to me.

"Can we be done now?" I ask another security member, Daniel.

"Sorry, no. Just a few more minutes." Daniel says.

I look at Adam who shrugs before we carry on signing.

I feel my hands start to sweat more and realise I'm shaking slightly.

"Are you good?" Adam whispers to me as were stood next to each other signing a portrait of Fallon and Liam.

"I wanna get out of here." I whisper back.

"Come on." Adam says and we turn around to face Daniel.

"'Kay I'm done." I say.

"Not yet." Daniel says.

I'm getting more panicked so I decide to push a little further.

"I've had enough." I say.

"I said not yet." Daniel says sternly.

"And I said I've had enough." I raise one eyebrow at him, despite my arms now shaking.

"Bro just let her go." Adam says.

"These people have been waiting." Daniel says.

"We've been waiting to go home." Adam says.

"Adam, it's fine." I give up and turn back to the fans.

I continue to shake as we're signing and taking pictures.

"Liz, he needs to let us go." Adam says to me.

"I know that! But he's being an asshole." I hiss.

I feel my knees buckle and fall into Adam's side. The fans awe as they assume we're hugging.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" Adam asks me.

"No." I say, starting to drop in and out of reality.

"Let's go." Adam says.

We start to walk away but Daniel catches up to us before we can even get to the end of the line of people.

"I really am finished now." I say.

"You'll be finished when I tell you you're finished." Daniel spits.

"Dude-" Adam starts, getting mad.

"Don't you dare make a scene." I whisper forcefully to Adam.

"Five more minutes, that is it." Adam says to Daniel and we go back to signing things.

I suddenly grab Adam's arm to ground myself.

"This isn't good." I mutter to Adam.

"It's alright, let's get you away from here." Adam says.

"Get Jill." I say as we walk towards her.

"You both alright? Liz, you look pale." Jill says worried.

"I'm two minutes away from a panic attack." I say.

"Oh my god, go! Do what you need to." Jill says.

"Daniel won't let us." Adam says.

"Screw him. You two get yourselves away and I'll speak to Daniel." Jill says.

"Thank you." I say.

"No problem! Look after yourself." Jill says, heading towards Daniel.

"Do you feel okay?" Adam asks me.

"Not really." I huff, running my hand through my hair.

"What's the matter?" Adam asks.

"I really don't feel good. I'm dizzy." I say, blinking quickly to try to get rid of the fuzzy lines in my vision.

"We're nearly at the car, just keep breathing." Adam says.

We get to his car on the far back right of the lot and he puts the bags in.

"Adam I'm gonna be sick." I blurt out.

"What?" Adam asks.

"Look away." I say.

"Huh?" Adam asks.

"Look the fuck away!" I yell as I bend forward behind the car and throw up.

"Oh sweetheart. It's fine now, we're away and it's just you and me." Adam says softly, rubbing my back in gentle circles.

"Do you have water?" I ask hoarsely, throwing up a second time.

"Right here." Adam says, twisting the cap off the bottle and handing it to me.

I rinse my mouth out and spit before drinking little sips.

"I just want to sleep." I complain.

"You can soon, honey. Are you done throwing up?" Adam asks.

"Uh huh." I nod.

We get in the car and Adam drives back to my house.
