~NOTES~
This is another little glimpse of my interpretation to how Michael and Liz got together. I suggest reading Part 1 before this chapter. Enjoy :)

Liz's POV
I'm getting ready for my date with Michael. Matt is staying with me for the weekend.

"Matt, can you do me a favour?" I yell from my bedroom.

"What is it?" Matt asks, walking in. "Wow, you look amazing."

"Thanks

"Thanks. Can you curl my hair while I do my make up please." I ask, handing him the curling iron.

"I don't have much of an option." Matt laughs.

"Great." I say, starting on my make up.

"You seem nervous." Matt says.

"I'm not." I hiss.

"Won't argue with that." Matt says defensively.

"Sorry, I guess I am a bit nervous." I sigh.

"What are you nervous for?" Matt asks, starting to curl my hair.

"I don't know. I can't even do my eyeliner I'm so shaky." I say, throwing my eye liner down.

"Liz, take a deep breath." Matt says and I do.

"I really like Michael, okay?" I say.

"Okay." Matt nods.

"And I think, maybe, he...well he might be my one." I blush.

"Aw Liz." Matt smiles.

"But I'm scared of getting my heart broken." I admit.

"I understand that." Matt says.

"I also don't want to rush into it and lose what he and I have already." I say.

"That's fair." Matt says.

"We have this insane connection. Every time we're together it feels like we should have been doing it since the beginning." I explain.

"I think you should tell him this." Matt says.

"Yeah, I probably should." I say, thinking it over.

"Come on, tell me more. I can see you're not done venting." Matt says.

"But after all that, I just want to properly start my life with him. If he's the one, I don't want to waste any time." I say.

"I totally get all of that. But remember, you risk ruining what you have by rushing into things." Matt points out.

"This is the problem. We've been on so many dates these last two weeks that I'm excited to see where it goes with him but I'm also petrified." I say.

"I think that you need to take a big ol' leap of faith into this. You know, dive in head first and be brave." Matt says, moving to the other side of my hair.
