Mom walks in.

"Your outfit looks very nice." Mom smiles at me.

"Thanks." I say, putting my headphones in my bag with my fidgets.

"Do you want to take anything else with you, Malia?" Mom asks.

"My hoodie." I grab my favourite hoodie from my closet and throw it in my bag.

"You ready to go now?" Mom asks.

"Yeah. Who's going to the party?" I ask.

"Everyone from the Dynasty cast and crew were invited so we'll have to see who turns up." Mom says.

"Where is it?" I ask.

"Ari let me borrow her place here in Atlanta. You've been there before. It's a thirty minute drive." Mom says.

"Mm. Okay." I say.

Timeskip

I'm walking around through all the crowds at the party. Every room smells of expensive alcohol.

"Hi Malia." Adam slurs.

"Well you're drunk." I say.

"I'm not." Adam says.

"Yes, he is." His girlfriend Rachel says, taking his hand.

"Rachel do you know where my mom is?" I ask.

"I'm sorry, I don't." Rachel says.

"It's fine." I say, walking away.

I walk through to the kitchen and Rafael and Rob are the only people I recognise.

"Malia!" Rob cheers.

"You alright, gal?" Raf asks, pulling me into his side.

"Where's my mom?" I ask, looking up at him.

"Ooh, I haven't seen her. Rob?" Raf yells over the music.

"What's up?" Rob asks.

"You know where Liz is?" Raf asks.

"Last I saw she was with Elaine." Rob says and I sigh.

"Do you want me to help you look for her?" Raf asks me.

"No it's okay. I can do it." I say, even though I'm getting overstimulated.

"Are you sure?" Raf asks.

"Yeah." I say, walking out.

As I'm walking around the house I see Elaine.

"Hey Malia. How you doing?" Elaine asks.
