I sat on the couch, bawling my eyes out, as I heard the front door open.

"Pam?"

I heard Colby yell. I just didn't have the energy to even pick my head up.

"Pam."

Colby said as he hugged me.

"What did I do wrong?"

I sobbed into his shoulder.

"You didn't do anything wrong baby. It just wasn't meant to be."

Colby said as I nodded.

"Thank you. I love you."

I said as I kissed him.

"I need to call Fergal. I just can't take Kaileah this weekend. Not after this."

I said as I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.

"What do you want Pam?"

Fergal asked as he answered the phone.

"Um, do you mind keeping Kaileah this weekend? I can't take her."

"Of course. You're one weekend in and you've given up on her."

"What?! No. It's not like that."

"What's your excuse this time Pamela? You and Colby going out somewhere? You going on a vacation?"

"I had a miscarriage you prick."

I said as I hung up and threw my phone to the side.

"Don't let him get to you. You love your daughter so much and she knows that."

Colby said as I sighed.

"I want to go to Orlando."

I said.

"Why do you want to go to Orlando?"

"I need to go visit Brinley and Kieran. I have to go see them. Please Colby."

I said as tears begin to roll down my face again.

"Of course. We can go this weekend."

Colby said as he kissed my temple. At least I can always go visit Brinley and Kieran whenever I want.
