Healing Wither

When you wake up, you don't normally find a scroll on your face. But that's how both Scar and Zed woke up. The weird thing was neither of them were on the server. They were both in the hub world. So when they ran into each other in the library later it was not very surprising. The pair just went through every book on magic in place. "I'm getting hungry, break for lunch?" Zed asked. "Sure." 

Else where, Cub was experimenting with plants in the park. "One more drop." He thought to himself. The plant began to grow. 

After a short break, Scar and Zed were headed back to the library when a scream caught their ears. Running into the park, people were screaming as they ran from out of control vines. "Zed! Scar!" The pair turned to see Tango and Impulse. "What are you two doing here?" Scar asked. "Cub. He said he was out here." Scar's heart sunk when he Impulse say Cub's name. A vine wrapped around Tango and lifted him up, and took him away. "TANGO!" The trio chased the vines.

They entered a grove, and the middle was...

"CUB!" Scar cried. Cub was fighting the vines wrapped around him. Tango was in a similar state. "SCAR STAY BACK!" Cub called out. Scar and Zed transformed into their guardian forms, and when they tried to blast the vines.

"No effect!?!" Scar said in confusion. Impulse screamed out, causing both hermits to turn and see...

Impulse had a vine trough his chest. "IMPULSE!" Zed screamed. He ran right over to him. "NO NO NO!" Scar looked over at Tango and Cub. "Scar, what are we gonna do?" "Try the spells." "We tried eariler but nothing happened." "I'm losing anyone else." Scar pulled out the scroll, and read "Wither and decay. End this destiny. Break these earthly chains. And set the spirit free. The spirit free" Nothing. He said it again, only this time a flower wilted. He said it again. His eyes went black. He was lifted in the air. This time when he said it, it came out as a song. As he spoke, his voice was creepy, and had an echo. Everyone looked over at him as he sang;

"Wither and decay."

"Ends this destiny."

"Break these earthly chains."

"Set this spirit free."

"This spirit free"

As he finished, his wings became black, black markings appeared on his arms, and a pair of black horns appeared on his head. A wither mark appeared on his shoulder. The vines began to wither up, letting Tango and Cub go. But at same time, the one that impaled Impulse began to wither. 

Zed began to panic. "Impulse?" Nothing, not even a pulse. Tango fell to the ground, tears running down his face. "You have to try your spell." Zed pulled out the scroll. He read, "Flower, gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt. Change the Fates' design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine." Nothing. He said again. Impulse's hand twitched. He said it again. His eyes went white. His voice became louder, causing everyone to look over at him, when he began to say it again it came out as a song;

"Flower, gleam and glow."

"Let your power shine."

"Make the clock reverse."

"Bring back what once was mine."

"Heal what has been hurt."

"Change the Fates' design." 

"Save what has been lost."

"Bring back what once was mine."

"What once was mine."

As he finished, his wing tips became red, his hair and tail tips became red, and a red heart appeared on his arm. The hole in Impulse's chest began to close. He began to cough. "Impulse?" Impulse groaned, as he opened his eyes. "Zed?" Zed hugged him. Tango shot over to him. "Tango?" Tears were flowing down Tango's face. "What happened?" Tango just joined the hug. "Um? Scar? Cub?" Scar and Cub decided not to answer. 

As the group began to exit the park, there was X and Grian. "Guys? What happened?" X said. "I think Scar and Zed gained more magic." Tango said to them. "Scar? Zed?" Grian asked looking at them. Scar nodded, as he showed his arm. Zed followed suit. "How?" Grian asked looking the marks over. Scar gave Grian the scroll. "With a incantation?" "A what?" "A song spell. Spells that only be casted in a song." Grian said, looking over the scroll Zed handed him. "A Healing incantation and a wither incantation."

Both incantations are songs. But who guess what they are from.
