Azula, Mai and Ty Lee had done everything they could to deal with the hurt but nothing worked. All you could do was pretend you were fine and go along with whatever plan Azula had for you. Returning back to the capital was even worse because all you could think about was Katara at the prison that you could see from your bedroom window. Rather than sleeping, nights were spent just staring at the window.
It's a week after your return when you decide that you had to do something. You knew how your father treated prisoners and there was no way you could let Katara to continue staying at the prison. With your mind made up, you pretended to head to bed early and waited until it was late to break into the prison.
You sneaked around, making sure you avoided any of the guards until you arrived at their cells.
"What are you doing here?"
You don't react to her tone, simply just open her cell door.
"Here this belongs to you." You hand her the pouch that Azula had given to you to keep. "The rest of your friends are down the hall. Help me open the doors."
Katara nods, taking both things as she helps you open the doors for the rest.
"Where's Appa?"
You search your keys until finding the one that you were looking for.
