Reality...

JARED's .P.O.V.

I feel like I'm in a haze.... I take Siren by the hand as she watches Jeanette hand Tomo Siren's daughter... I slide her away and take her into her bedroom... I pull her into my arms and before I knew what was happening, Siren's lips were on mine! She was kissing me with a passion I hadn't felt before from her! I wanted SO bad not to push her away... But I had to! Or things would have gotten carried away FAST!

"Baby, are you okay?" I chuckled as I smiled looking into her eyes... "You just heard me say..."

"I heard what you said.... And I don't care! I want to be in your arms... I want to feel your lips on mine!" Siren drags me to the bed and I give in to her! I kiss her and slide over her... "I know... we can't make love right now... But I can remind you of how much I love you can't I?" I saw this devilish grin on her face as she kissed me and tried to unto my pants... 

I pull her hands up and pin her on the bed.... "Okay... That just isn't fair!" I laugh... then I see the look in her eyes! "Oh my god you're serious!" Before I know what is going on Siren has pulled me back to her and has her hand down my pants rubbing my aching dick!

"Did I say I was wasn't serious?" I hear her laugh... it is a seductive laugh.... Oh my god... She is going to actually try and pull this revolt of rules of! "I want to show you..."

I put my finger over her lips and just pull her into my arms and lay next to her... "No... that's not going to show me how much you love me baby... That just shows us both how much we are letting ourselves get carried away... You JUST got home from having a baby... You can't do ANYTHING for SIX WEEKS! Even if we weren't going through this shit with the two of them!"

"So you didn't hear what my sister said?" Siren chuckled...

"Oh the fact you've wanted me since you were 12? Oh no... I heard that! And yes, I'm quite damn proud of that fact!" I couldn't help but laugh and kiss her head... "But I'm not going to let us break the rules JUST yet baby... When you are healed completely and can HANDLE me... which we BOTH know is going to take longer than six weeks..." I laughed... 

"Yeah... no... with as bad as I want you Jared... And the way I want to be with you... I'm screwed for probably eight weeks!" She laughed...

"Well... screwed may not be the right word for that!" I laughed as I looked down at Siren as she lay in my arms.... "Don't think I don't want you!" She could tell my mood had changed... "I do! Please know how bad I want to make love to you... Siren I..."

This time she stopped me... "I know Jared... But you're right... it would cause some irrevokable damage to my body with your size and how rough I KNOW we could get..."

"But then there is the damage to Jeanette and Shannon..." I reminded her... "The time will come baby... I promise... We WILL be together again! I promise you I'm not giving you up with out a fight Siren... You've waited 20 years to be with me... I'm not going to give you up with out fighting for the woman who was willing to fight for that after 20 years of being just a fan... I'm not giving you up that easy woman! I've waited 20 years for someone willing to fight for us the way you are!... So yeah... I'm not going anywhere just yet." 

Siren and I lay in her room and just held on to each other for the next two hours. Siren slept in my arms for the first time as my woman girlfriend. Everyone knew we were together, and no one (except for Shannon and Jeanette) were going to stand in our way... 

I watched Siren as she slept, and I couldn't help but kiss her temple before I carefully try to slide my arm out from under her. Unfortunately it doesn't work with out making her jump slightly... 

"Jared? Where's Connie? Oh my god!" I hear her panic...

"Shhhhh baby she is fine... I was going to go check on her... Remember, mom is out there with her and so are Jeanette, Vickie, and Tomo. Do you want me to get her?" I try to comfort her. It doesn't seem to do anything but stop her from shaking... Until she looks into my eyes... "I'm real, she is real... NO ONE is going to hurt you! You don't have to be afraid anymore baby... I promise!"

"Jared I had a dream I lost her! Shannon tried to take her for a visit and..." She jumped into my arms... "I can't do this Jared... I can't be a mother again! I'm too afraid!"

"Shhhh.... I'm NOT going to let anything happen to her! Shannon wouldn't either! I promise you!" I just held Siren as she cried....

This was going to be harder than I thought over the next few weeks.... Until Connie turned a month old... I knew Siren was going to be afraid of EVERY sound! I had to talk to Shannon and Jeanette... I didn't know what to do to help her... But I knew she couldn't live like this for the next month.... Or longer... Would she EVER be able to get past Joshua's death? Or would she keep fearing that her daughter would end up the same way.... I would make sure she wouldn't! But how did I prove that to Siren? How would I calm her fears?

"I've got you baby.... Always have... Always will! I promise you Siren.... NOTHING will ever hurt you or Connie! I PROMISE YOU!" I looked her in the eyes and kissed her lips... She finally melted into me and just let me hold her close....
