Huai was dumbfounded. When the cunning man saw Lisa's resolute expression, he inwardly understood him somewhat. He lowered his voice and said, "Don't worry, I'll solve Mrs Manoban's issue."

Lisa suddenly smiled faintly and his eyes darted outside. His deep and sonorous voice politely said, "Thank you for your trouble, Captain Huai!"

...

"Nini, come home with me?"

Lisa tugged at his sapphire-blue tie as he walked out of WuHuai's office. There was a warm smile on his handsome face when he looked at Jennie who was exiting the office.

This was one of the rare occasions when both of them encountered each other in a public place.

Jennie looked at the clock on the wall and ran her fingers
through her hair to tidy it before she quietly said, "Work ends in 15 more minutes so you can go home first."

Her expression was frosty while she used a professional and business-like tone. It seemed as though she was not the fascinating, enchanting, and charming woman of many postures who laid underneath him every night...

Lisa understood her state of mind when he saw her indifferent expression. Although none of her colleagues were around, she was still

maintaining a distance between him and herself.

"Alright, I'll wait for you at the parking area then!"

Lisa restrained his tone and kept it as gentle as possible while

the pupils in his dark eyes constricted.

"Up to you." Jennie was feeling moody as well and clearly did not

want to pay attention to him.

The woman took a pile of documents to the printing room. She did not

even turn her head to glance at Lisa when she placed the

documents into the photocopier.

It looked like this was not as simple as merely avoiding arousing her

colleagues' suspicion.

Lisa emitted icy chills throughout his entire body. Why was this

woman displaying these irritating expressions every day?

Jennie could always maintain her composure while attacking

him.

Lisa's heart had been stifled in spite of the numerous things

that happened these two days. He had never sarcastically spoken to

her but this woman had struck first and was now throwing a tantrum?

Alright, if Mistress was energetic enough to kick up a fuss, her physical

stamina should not disappoint too. She should be fine once she had

exercised more to exhaust herself.

Lisa's long legs stepped forward without stopping while a tinge

of resentment formed in his heart.

Jennie quietly sighed in relief once she saw that he had left.

However, the distractions in her heart still made her uneasy.

Huh! This man came here today to pick up Nancy.

Was he not occupied with numerous other matters every day?

Did he not have his secretary, assistant, and a lawyer?

He had gotten so many people involved for such a minor problem.
