Everyone is recovering from the Upside Down, especially you since your mind finally has time to process the last few days. You're still in shock.
You visit Max once in hospital, holding her hand and telling her she's going to be okay, and that you won't let Vecna win, even if he's still out there somewhere. You feel like it should be you laying there instead of Max, an innocent fifteen year old.
You still don't understand why Vecna never killed you.
You volunteer at Hawkins High, keeping away from people and your overbearing parents as you deal with your mind.
You're sorting through some clothes when you feel something in your pocket.
You reach in and your eyes flood with unshed tears.
It's Eddie's necklace, he must have slipped it into your pocket at some point before the bats.
With it, there's a small note with chicken scratch writing;
'I'm basing my next campaign off of all this, you in?
