Sweet Revenge | SasuSaku [Completed]

Part 1

Before anything else, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Haruno Sakura, a 19 year old ordinary girl.
There's nothing much to say, because, well ugh, ordinary.
Not a fancy, rich, beautiful girl. I don't stand out on a crowd.
I think I have powers like invisibility or something because everyone just passes by me.
And by that, obviously I didn't had, have or i guess will have, a boyfriend.
Pssh who cares about them anyway. Only child of my gorgeous mom, Haruno Akari. Dad? He died. Anywaaaaaaaaaay.

This is how my story goes.

New life in a new home in a new place!
It was exciting at first, but I realized I had to find a new job, which is pretty much meeeeh.

"Mom, I'm gonna look for a job."
"Already? But we just finished unpacking honey. You must've been tired."
"Hahaha, a little. But that doesn't stop me, bye mom!"
"Take care honey!"

I ran out of our small, simple yet beautiful home, thinking this would cost us a lot, and hoping the landlady would give us chances if we couldn't pay it in time. I sigh. Another problem. We can do this Sakura! said somewhere behind my mind.

Honestly, I don't know if I'll get a job here or anything. I mean, this is Tokyo. It's different from way back home in Kaga. I could just sell vegetables my mom and I harvested there, but there's no garden or farm near  our home now so I had to level up jobs.

I tried a few shops in towns, but I got rejected. It was already late when I saw a ramen shop, I haven't eaten, and this place looks and smells good I thought. You have no money though, again said behind my mind. I still went inside.

"Good Evening lovely customer, anything you'd like to order?" said a tall old guy.
"Ugh, nah, just looking." My stomach started growling.
"Well someone disagrees. I can get something for you just for free."
"Really?" Wow, lucky me.
"Yes, we just opened earlier so the ramen has discounts, as for you young lady, well it won't be bad to give it to you for free." Hm, this guy's nice.

He gave me a big bowl of Ramen. Gosh it was heavenly. I noticed that only him and some young average guy works in it, perhaps his son. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to ask for a job right?

"Uhm, mister.."
"Yes young lady?"
"I'm looking for a job, do you think, perhaps, I can be a waitress here?" Please, please.
"Well, we do need a hand, hmmm. Sure young lady, you can start tomorrow 6pm." No interviews. Just a big friendly smile and I get the job, haha.
"OH THANK YOU! Thank you! You're a life saver mister......" Forgot to ask his name.
"Namito, and the guy right there is my son Aki." he smiles.
"Thank you mister Namito! You won't regret hiring me. Byeee!" I thanked them, ran and left.

Maybe this place isn't so bad. I got a job on my first day.
I quickly went home so mom could hear the good news.

"Mom guess what?"
"You saw a stray cat and you want to adopt it? No Sakura, you can't, they will make a mess."
"Silly! Hahaha! Got a job." I hugged her.
"Oh, good for you honey! I'm so proud."

Nothing feels better than seeing my mom happy.

"Why would you think I'll adopt a cat anyway? Hahaha."
"I was looking through your pictures when you were younger."

I saw the box where my mom was looking at and it was full of albums and picture frames. I looked through the album and a picture caught my attention. It was the 6 year old me holding hands with a cute boy, as fair as I remember he's 10 years old around this time.

"This is..." I was trying to remember his name.
"Sasuke, honey. He was your best friend, oh how I miss you'd tell me everything you did together every night and how you miss him even if you just parted ways just 15 minutes ago. Hehe" I blushed.
"Best friend, heh. Probably because he was my only friend. I wonder where he is now though."
"I don't know honey, I lost the contact his mother gave me back then."
"Well, we'll find it if we had time."

Afterwards, we fixed the things and went to sleep.
Another day tomorrow Sakura.
