Tim Drake x reader

For those who read the Torn Into Two book yes I know I already used this name but I was debating between Ghost and Shadow so I chose Shadow, hope you enjoy!

Shadow's pov

       Batman glared at me when I hid behind him in fear, it's not my fault that this happened to me. I shuddered at the thought of my old life before Robin(Damian) and Batman found me.

Flashback

       "Hold her down!" said my so called mother "there! She's ready to go!" said my disgusting so called father, my mother injected something into my body and I screamed in pain. 

       I heard glass shattering, my parents started fighting back but they didn't last a minute. A boy with a katana unlocked my restraints, I whimpered in pain. 

       "It's alright, Y/n," said the Dark Knight "it's alright," and I blacked out.

Flashback over

       Unfortunately I didn't stay with Batman for long, just enough for me to heal. Nightwing offered to take me back with him to Bludhaven and that's where I became the Shadow working alongside with Nightwing. 

       For awhile Nightwing and I worked together until he decided that I should join the team as Batman's new protege, unfortunately Robin wasn't happy with it but he was slightly happy to find out that I'm a introvert. 

       Batman left for a mission leaving Robin to introduce me, after he did everybody started introducing themselves, all I did was nod and wave, "how come you don't talk?" asked M'gann, I shrugged and didn't say anything, "she's always been like that," said Robin "because of her past," Robin added, I glared at him but he kept going, "her parents experimented on her and they didn't care as long as she screamed. Nobody will love her," Robin said, I hid my face before turning invisible. 

       Damn you, Robin, why do you have to be so blunt? when I disappeared everyone but Robin started looking for me but I hid myself well, not even Superboy can pick up my footsteps, whenever I'm invisible and I moved I made no sound. 

       I sniffed and wiped some tears away "hey," said a voice making me jump, a boy my age wearing a red and black suit looked at me, "you alright?" he asked "h-how can you see me?" I asked "well, you're visible," he replied, I looked down at my hands and realized I am visible, "you can turn invisible?" he asked, I nodded, "why did you hide?" he asked "that stuck up brat is so blunt, he doesn't even care about what others feel," I said, the boy frowned before realizing who I'm talking about, "ugh! Of course Robin is the one who made you feel like that," he said "w-who are you?" I asked "Red Robin, at your service," he said offering me his hand to shake, but I didn't shake, "oh, you're an introvert," he realized, I nodded, he sat down next to me, "hey, if it makes you feel better, I'll beat his sorry butt," he said, a smile appeared on my face, "there's that smile," he said "you're not actually going to do it are you?" I asked "no, but it made you feel better didn't it?" he replied "it did," I said, Red Robin got up and offered me his hand again, "you ready to go back?" he asked, I nodded and grabbed his hand. 

       From there and out, Red Robin became my first real friend, and I'm glad he did or I'll be so lost. Red Robin partially beat up Robin, though I do admit I didn't expect him to. Cassie aka Wondergirl has been glaring at me every time I'm with Red, it's not like we're together or something. 

       New Years was coming up, I don't know what is was until Red Robin and Blue Beetle, aka Jamie Reyes, made me sit down and both tell me what it was. I looked out of the window while the others are chatting. I wrapped around me, I felt arms wrapping around me. Red. 

       I turned to face him, "hey," I greeted him "hey," he greeted me back "it's almost midnight," he said "is it?" I asked, Red nodded and then, "Happy New Years, Justice League," I turned to face Red only to be met with lips. 

       I heard Cassie gasping but it only made Red kiss me even harder. I pulled Red closer to me and we both turned invisible.
