Y/n's pov

       The sound of laughing is all I can hear as Wally and I walk hand in hand through the carnival that's in Central City. I sighed "this is a great idea, Walls," I said "come on, Walls, let's ride some rides," I said pulling him, Wally laughed and let me drag him along.

*time skip*

       Many rides later, Wally and I are sharing cotton candy, Wally ended up eating it all, "stupid high metabolism," he grumbled, I sighed and kissed his cheek, "you need to buy me another one," I said "fine with me," said Wally, just then, we heard screaming. 

       "Count Vertigo," Wally said, he quickly got suited up, I pulled my jacket off, underneath it is my suit. 

       Kid Flash and I jumped into action, I pulled out my w/o/c out and threw/fired at Vertigo, he dodged it, I growled and lunged again. Vertigo used his power to slow me down but it didn't have a lot of effect on me because that's one of my abilities. 

       I heard Kid Flash groaning making me distracted and Vertigo took that chance to stab me with a blade, "s/n!" I heard Kid Flash calling out.

Kid Flash's pov

       I clenched my knuckles and took off, I tackled Vertigo down and brought my fists down to his ugly face over and over again, someone grabbed me and pulled me away, "that's enough, Kid Flash!" Uncle said "that's enough, you have bigger problems," said Uncle, I snapped my head to s/n, I ran over to her. 

       "She's lost a lot of blood," I said "get her to the cave," said Uncle, I nodded and took off. Very quickly, I made it to the cave "hey, Kid Fla-," M'gann began "no time to explain," I quickly said and took off to the infirmary. 

       Very quickly, I took care of her wound with the help of Robin, "it's a good thing you got here fast," said Robin "there would've been a bigger chance of her losing her life," I gulped and took her hand, "she won't die, I know she won't," I said confidently, Robin left and I stayed by s/n's side. 

       Days past by, then weeks, weeks turned into months. Red Tornado said she won't make it, Batman said there's a slim chance she's going to make it too. I squeezed her hand "Y/n," I whispered "don't leave me," "who said I'm leaving you?" Y/n asked, she groaned and I helped her sit up, "how do you feel?" I asked "like I've been run over by a million cars and been stabbed multiple times," said Y/n "I remember fighting Vertigo, because of you I got distracted," she said "soooo, I'm kinda blaming you for making me end up here," I chuckled and kissed her "I'm glad you're alive," I said "how long was I out?" Y/n asked "a few months," I said "a few months?" she repeated "yeah," I said "well damn," she said.
