Oliver Queen x reader

Y/n's pov

       I found Oliver depressed, ever since the death of Sara he just broke, not only did he lose Sara, he lost his mother too. 

       "Ollie? you need anything?" I asked "no," Oliver said, I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him, "Ollie, don't take this on your own, everybody needs help," I said "death is a part of life, everybody goes through it," Oliver turned to face me, "how can I do this Y/n? how can I keep going?" he asked "courage, determination, and confidence," I said "that's all you need," Oliver stood up, my arms still around him, "Y/n, I already lost Slade and Shado, I lost Sara once and now I lost her again with my mother. I'll never be the same man," he said "Ollie, you wear that hood for a reason and that reason is to honor Shado, wear that hood and honor not just Shado but Sara, Slade and your mother," I said "honor them," "where will I be without you?" Oliver asked "I don't know," I said "don't be afraid, be that hero that this city needs," I said, Oliver kissed my forehead, "thank you, Y/n," he said, he then got ready to face a new vigilante night.

        "I don't know how you do it," said Diggle "do what?" I asked turning to face him, "get through that wall that he built, soften him up, stop him from being so stubborn, ah, you get the idea," said Diggle, I smiled, "I do know what you mean," I said "I just hope he can get through this," I said turning to him, "Y/n, Oliver needs help, major help and he needs you," he said "help him," "I will help him Diggle, any way possible," I said.

*time skip*

       While waiting for Oliver I offered Thea to help her out at the club. A lot of guys tried to flirt with me but I shut them all down except for one "come on, baby girl, come on home with me so we can have fun," said a drunk guy "no thank you," I said cleaning a glass, he grabbed my wrist, "look, you're coming with me whether you like it or not," he growled, another hand grabbed his, "excuse me, sir, that's not very nice," said Oliver "I think you should leave," "oh yeah? What are you gonna do if I don't?" the drunk asked "I'll kick you out since I'm the owner of this club," Oliver said, several guards grabbed the drunk and dragged him out, "thanks, Ollie," I said "no problem," said Oliver "I think you should go home, Y/n, it's not safe," he said "I'm fine, Ollie," I said "trust me," I said "I do trust you, Y/n, but I'm just worried you'll get kidnapped and raped," Oliver said, I walked towards him, "Ollie, I'll be fine, besides, if that really did happen the Arrow will save me," I said, Oliver chuckled, "you're right, he will save you," Oliver agreed "I'll just stay here and make sure nothing else happens to you," he said "if that makes you feel better then sure," I said and kissed his cheek. 

       I continued working till it was 11pm, I waved bye to Thea and Roy, Oliver was hesitant about letting me go home alone but I waved it off "Ollie, I'll be fine alright? I'll call you once I get home," I said "okay?" "fine," said Oliver "goodnight, Ollie," I said and left the club, I pulled out the keys to y/c, just when I was about to unlock the door I saw several men looking at me. 

       I was about to open the door but a hand grabbed me, "mff!" "quiet girl," a man's voice growled "make a sound and I'll make sure you don't make anymore sound," I bit him making him yell in pain, "help! HELP ME!" I said "that's it, girl!" said the man and he knocked me out.

Oliver's pov

       I paced back and forth worried about what happened to Y/n, she always calls me when she stays late and she promised me she'll call once she reached home. "Are you tracking her?" I asked "yep, just give me a few minutes," said Felicity "found her, she's at 5th Avenue and you better hurry Oliver, she's being held ransom by Vertigo," said Felicity, I quickly got suited up, nobody hurts Y/n.

I know Vertigo dies but he's the only villain that came into mind.

Y/n's pov

       I squirmed around in my bonds, a guard held his knife against my neck, "make another move and I'll slit your throat," he said "the Arrow will save me," I said and spat at him, "you bitch!" he said raising his hand to slap me but an arrow sent him flying back, "he's here," I whispered "let her go and I'll leave in peace," said Arrow with his voice scrambler on "yeah right!" said one of the guards "you asked for it," said Arrow and he started taking them out. He then cut my bonds "thank God," I said rubbing my arms, I heard a gun cocking, Arrow grabbed me and shoved me behind him, "well, well, the Arrow is here," said Vertigo "why did you take her?" Arrow asked "because she's seen with the multi billionaire Oliver Queen, what better way for him to give me the money for the safety of her!" Vertigo said, Arrow slipped something in my hand, it was a smoke bomb, he signaled me to throw it when he gives me the signal, I nodded. 

       "This is your last time you'll be doing something like that Vertigo," said Arrow, he gave me the signal and I threw the bomb, Arrow grabbed me and we both fled. We reached a building, Arrow's arms tightly wrapped around me, "how did you get kidnapped?" he asked, his voice scrambler off "I was about 8 or feet away from the club when I got kidnapped," I said "I'm sorry, I should've taken you home myself," he said "hey, I'm fine aren't I?" I said "I know you are but I'm afraid of letting you go home alone now," he said "Arrow, I'm fine," I said "you're there to protect me," his lips quirked upwards "true," he said "I believe I earn something," he said "alright," I said "what do you want?" his lips were on mine when those words left my mouth, I kissed back.
