Terry McGinnis x reader part 2!

Terry's pov

       When I got back Mr. Wayne looked up "well?" he asked "I dumped her," I said softly "and I regret it," I added "you'll get over her," Mr. Wayne said "as if you've been in love before," I snapped "I'm her best friend and lover," I said "and I broke my trust and love for her," I said "how am I supposed to get over it?" "you will eventually," said Mr. Wayne.

       Another problem occurred and after I took care of it, I immediately headed to her place, I saw Y/n on her bed, she's curled up in a tight ball. Her mother is comforting her, I listened to their conversation "what did I do wrong, Mom?" asked Y/n "you did nothing wrong, sweetheart," her mother replied "you were the one who got Terry and me to become friends, you were the one who convinced me to date him, and I did," Y/n said "why does this keep happening to me? What's wrong with me?" she asked "shhh, it's alright, sweetheart," her mother said softly "I don't know if I can go to school again," Y/n said "how about you go to a new school then?" her mother asked "what do you mean?" Y/n asked "your father's job was relocated to Central City, we were going to tell you once school is out for the summer but I guess it's best that I tell you now," her mother said "you can have a fresh new start, a new school, new chances, and a possibility of finding a new boyfriend," she said "when are we leaving?" asked Y/n "like I said, after school is out but we can leave early if you'll like," her mother said "I'll like that," said Y/n "a fresh start sounds nice," I shook my head and left.

       She wants to leave because of me, she wants a new start, a start where I don't exist, a start where I never became her best friend. I got changed and returned home, I said hello to my mother and headed to my bedroom.

       Once inside, I picked up a photo of Y/n and me at prom, I should never have listened to him, maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to get her to forgive me. Fat chance, she probably doesn't even want to see me and to make matters worse, her brother is a freaking marine who just returned home from a 7 year war.

       I got an idea, I told my mother that I'm going out again, I quickly got suited up and left. I headed back to Y/n's place, I found her packing her things up. I silently landed on the fire escape and knocked on her window.

Y/n's pov

       I jumped when someone knocked on my window, I walked over to see the Batman. I opened it "may I?" he asked, he had a voice scrambler on, I moved out of the way and let him in.

       "What brings you here?" I asked softly "let's just say I know a certain boy that's still madly in love with you," Batman said "how does Terry know you?" I asked "that's a question I cannot answer," said Batman "do I know you?" I asked "what makes you ask that?" he asked "your voice scrambler," I said "people use voice scramblers so that others that know them don't recognize their voice," I said "Y/n, don't leave," Batman said "you don't make decisions for me," I said turning around "what if Batman didn't make decisions for you?" asked another voice, a voice that I know too well. I turned around again to see his mask off, Terry McGinnis is Batman? "Y/n, the reason why I broke up with you is because of this," said Terry "I broke up with you to keep you safe, if villains found out about you they will come after you," Terry explained "please, I'm begging you not to leave," "why didn't you tell me before?" I asked "like I said before, if villains found out about you they will use you against me," said Terry, with a shaky hand he cupped his hand against my cheek, "don't leave me," "you left me, Terry," I said "I'm not forgiving you for that," I said "I know and I deserve that," Terry said "all I'm asking for, is you to come back," "I'm sorry, Terry," I said "you shouldn't have broken up with me," Terry dropped his hand from my cheek, "I can't change your mind can I?" he asked "nope," I said softly, Terry grabbed my waist and kissed me hard, "I deserved to kiss you one last time before you left," he said and he left. I watched him leave, I heard someone knocking on the door, "hey little sis, you got your things packed right?" B/n asked coming in "yeah, I packed them," I said "why is your window open?" he asked "just getting some fresh air," I said shutting my window.

Terry's pov

       Today's the day where Y/n is moving from Gotham, she'll never come back. I just got back from school when someone knocked on the door "Y/n, what a surprise," I heard my mother saying, Y/n? "it's nice seeing you too, Mrs. McGinnis, is Terry home?" I heard Y/n saying "yes, he's in his bedroom," Mom said, I heard footsteps and they got closer to my door. I opened it, I saw Y/n wearing her usual clothing "I thought you left," I said "well you thought wrong," Y/n said "I'm giving you another chance, Terry, this is your last chance though," said Y/n, I engulfed her in a tight hug, "what about your Dad's job?" I asked "Mom and Dad are going to Central while B/n and I stay here. B/n's taking care of me. He's 25 so he's old enough to be my guardian," Y/n said "I promise you, Y/n, I will never make that mistake again," I said "I know you won't, Terry," said Y/n "I know you won't,"
