It was suppose to be a normal day... It was suppose to be a normal hike in the woods... It was suppose to be a normal break from the vast world of humans and monsters... But it wasn't...

The soft whimpers of the child bounced off the stone walls of the cold basement.

"P-Pap-paperjam... I-It'll b-be o-ok-okay..." A white skeleton shivered in the cold, stripped of their warm scarf unlike the child. "W-We'll s-sur-survive..." He continued, trying to smile at his poor son.

The dark boned father scoffed, rolling his eyes. Still, he said nothing. He knew better than to try and discourage his son and wife. That, and he was hoping it was true... That they'd be saved, or let free...

"Wh-Why... Wh-Why di-did he-he..." The young baby bones tried to ask something, but the cold made his body too numb for him to speak properly.

"Don't know, don't care. Now shut up, save your energy... You're going to need it..." The mean father murmured, looking around the room. He had to get them out of there... Yes, he may not care much about the boy, but he doesn't want him to die or worse!

The child nodded, curling up as best as he could. He needed to stay warm or else he would literally freeze! He was made of mostly ink... Like seventy percent of him is mostly ink and paint... He really can't stay in the cold for too long...

Slowly, the old door on the top of the stairs opened up and someone descended them. Their steps were calm and filled with dominance... Dominance that sent horrible shivers down the strong male in the frozen room.

Another white skeleton entered the room, his eyes dark and dead. He stared at the three, taking everything in. Taking in their shivering and cowering forms. Taking in the sweet smell of their delectable blood~

"Which to take first..." He murmured, his hunger growing.

He looked at the three, the parents glaring him down. It was silly and rather looked adorable!

Still this thing looked at them with hunger. Their blood flooded quickly through their veins and they looked a bit more delicious! Yet... The smaller monster looked rather tired... Looked cold...

"So beautiful~" He whispered as he cupped the child's freezing cheek.

Paperjam didn't want to lean into the creature's hand, but it was warm... Very warm...

He leaned into it, wanting more of the warmth... He just wanted the warmth... He didn't care at this point... He just wanted it...

"Leave my son alone!" Shouted the father, the words flying out without him thinking. He didn't know what possessed him at that moment, but he knew he couldn't let the kid get hurt... He knew he couldn't let the kid die!

The monster growled to himself, something inside of him wanting to lash out at the stupid mortal! Though... something stopped him... Something stopped him from lashing out just like he wanted to...

"Don't speak to me like that." He warned, turning over to the father.

He could see the resemblance. They both had dark bones, both of them seemed to have an attitude, just one isn't used to the cold... Which seemed interesting...

"Go to hell, you beast!" Error shouted, glaring harshly down at the other monster. He didn't like him... And it's not because they were kidnapped by this thing.

The creature laughed, it harsh and crazed sounding. When he looked back at the parents... Things became very clear on what this monster intended to do to them...

"Well... Might as well dig in~" He purred, lunging at the two tied up parents.

Their screams were concealed in the dark room... The sound bouncing off the walls... Heightening...
