The unexpected surprise

They started fighting. Krizalid dodged most of K's attacks. He didn't wish to fight K', especially not on his birthday. But Ralf on the other hand...
He was enjoying the scene with popcorn.
K' threw his sunglasses at him to give him Chain Drive, but luckily Krizalid managed to catch the sunglasses and give it back to K', much to his surprise.
K' put it back on in surprise before continuing to attack Krizalid.
Krizalid realised that Mechanical Bliss was slowly turning into Dear Fallen Angel. He stood up and stuck his hand out at K', motioning him to wait, much to the latter's surprise.
He waited for the first half of the song to finish before starting to burn his coat off. As much as he liked it, things still had to go according to plan.
"Burn this image into your eyes...and die," Krizalid said, burning his coat off.
"All this talk about a pointless desire..." K' replied, taking his sunglasses off before stuffing it under his coat. "It's annoying."
"Well, I can't agree more," Krizalid said under his breath.
"What?" K' asked, confused.
"Nothing," Krizalid said. "Come on! Show me what you've got!"
So the fight went on. Seirah watched them fight under her and turned to glance at the others, mainly at Ralf. Ralf gestured a 'wait' and she turned back to look at her fighting brothers.
The song was finishing when Krizalid took the remote out and pressed it, nodding to the beat of the music. K' tried to stop him, afraid that his sister might die, but instead of what Krizalid said would happen, it started raining confetti. Ralf also pressed the button that would unroll K's tapestry.
"What?" K' asked, confused. "What's going on?"
Seirah stood up from the chair and undid the loose bonds herself before removing the tape from her mouth.
To K's surprise, his theme started playing, as in KD-0079. K' looked around, confused. His eyes widened when he spotted the tapestry with his picture.
"What's going on?!" K' shouted, turning to his clone. "Kriz!"
"It's all a plan, Dash," Krizalid said. "Alright, we need to get ourselves cleaned up."
"What's actually happening?!" K' shouted, shaking his clone's shoulders. "Dude! Tell me!"
He was a little relieved when he saw his sister safely standing on her feet. She smiled at them and jumped off the platform, landing next to them with a soft thud.
"Seirah!" K' called, running to her. "You're okay!"
"I am, K'," Seirah said. Just as she said that, K' hugged her. Though surprised, Seirah chuckled, returning the hug. "It was all a plan."
"You..." K' said, threateningly turning to Krizalid. "Why did you do such a thing?!"
"Hey, it wasn't my plan," Krizalid said, raising his hands. "Blame Ralf."
"That idiot?" K' asked, surprised. He then turned to his sister. "Seirah? Is this true?"
"Yes, Dash," Seirah said. "Don't blame Kriz. He's a guinea pig in this case, just like me."
"Yeah," Krizalid said, annoyed with Ralf. He looked up and called for said idiot. "Oi! Come down here and show yourself!"
Ralf did. He came down and grinned at them.
"Oh you're so dead!" K' roared, running after him with a flame on his right hand.
"Don't mind if I join too," Krizalid said, joining in with both of his hands flaming.
"And me too," Seirah said, running with them with her whip.
Ralf realised that he's doomed and ran into the back room. A large stone door closed behind him. They started banging on it, demanding him to come out.
"Guys did you forget the party?" Ralf shouted from inside. "Go get changed, guys!"
"Yeah guys," Clark said, appearing behind them. "There's a party after this."
"Party?" K' repeated, confused. "So that's what this was all about?"
"Yep!" Ralf shouted back from behind the rock door. K' banged his fist on the door when he heard Ralf reply.
"And it was all his plan," Clark said. "Come on, guys. Your outfits are waiting in the back room.
K' just stood frozen on his spot in surprise. Krizalid pulled him to where the back room was. Heidern was there, holding up two paper bags with the slightest of smiles.
"You're in on this too?!" K' asked in shock. "What is this actually about? What's with the sudden party?"
"It's your birthday, silly," Seirah said with a chuckle, ruffling K's hair. "You forgot?"
"It is?" K' asked, surprised. "You guys actually remembered even when I didn't?"
"Yep!" Everyone in the room said.
"Put these on," Heidern said, handing them the bags. "The powder rooms are that way."
K' scratched his head and headed to where Heidern had pointed. K' opened the bag that Heidern handed to him not too long ago and saw that it was a nice formal suit.
Krizalid on the other hand, received a long trench coat. It looked good enough to even be worn to a formal event.
The two men walked out of the changing rooms and looked at each other. Clark and Heidern started leading them to the party room.
"Why does it feel like we've been instructed to do something... mysterious?" K' whispered to Krizalid. "Like... look at them. It's like we're asked to carry out some sort of mission!"
"Well, it's them after all," Krizalid whispered back. "But hey, admit it. At least it ain't Ralf..."
"Ugh you're right," K' said, shuddering at the thought. "I can't stand the sight of him!"
"Same here," Krizalid admitted.
They entered the party room and K' practically got a heart attack when he saw that literally everyone were there. From Maxima right down to Ash.
K' kinda looked disturbed. At least, it wasn't his enemies, right?
Yep.
Seirah was already there, out of the sweater and overalls. She had fixed her makeup up a bit too. There was a long red curtain drawn across the wall at the side. At least, K' thought it was just a wall.
They started singing him Happy Birthday as Krizalid led him to the large cake in the middle. Oh how much he hated sweet food...
"Don't worry, the cake is isn't as sweet as you think," Krizalid said, guessing what his younger original was thinking. "It's lemon forest."
K' nodded and blew out all seventeen candles on it. He cut the cake and wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do with it. Well... K' never really had any birthdays as long as he was at NESTS...
Seirah smiled and cut out a small piece before feeding it to her brother. She cut the rest of the cake and served it to the rest. Krizalid couldn't wait to get his hands on the cake.
Soon, they were sitting around, eating the cake while chatting. After that, Ralf opened the curtain. Behind it was a large table filled with gifts.
"Happy Birthday, K'," Ralf wished. "These are all yours."
K' stared in shock. "Wait what?" The words escaped K's quivering lips. "All of that?!"
"Yep!" Everyone said in unison.
K' spent the next hour painfully tearing open the beautifully wrapped gifts.
"It took me ages to wrap that..." Aiko sighed as she watched K' rip out the necklace that Iori got him.
"Thanks, Iori," K' said, smiling at the necklace. "It looks good."
"I know," Iori said, smirking. "I knew it would look good on you."
K' smiled slightly and put the necklace on. The sunglasses that the redhead got him sat on his head. Next, he opened Kula's unusually large gift. Inside, he found a darts set, a necklace with Dash carved on it, a fidget spinner, and last of all, a stuffed toy.
"Do you like it?" Kula asked, grinning widely.
K' was kinda touched.
"Y-Yes I do," K' said with a kind smile. "Thanks Kula."
To everyone's surprise, he suddenly hugged Kula, causing the guests to echo an awww.
Ralf suddenly came up to him, earning a frown from the birthday boy.
"Happy birthday, dude," Ralf said, handing a rectangular case to him.
K' thanked him and took the case. He opened it and to his surprise, it was a hunting knife with his name engraved on the blade.
"Do you like it?" Ralf asked, seeing how K's face changed upon seeing the knife.
"Thanks, Ralf," K' said. "It looks great."
"Glad that you like it," Ralf said, taking out another case like that. He went over to Krizalid and handed it to him. "This one's for you, buddy."
Krizalid opened it and saw that it was a similar knife, only it had a slight tint of dark purple to the handle. The blade was engraved with his name too.
The two knife receivers changed their minds about strangling Ralf eventually.
