"Elsa, Harry, we need to go get help," Hermione said in a worried voice.

"No, you guys go get help. I can deal with this," I told them walking forward with an icy mist swirling around me.

"No, Elsa! Wait! I'm coming with you. It's too late to get help, that thing is big enough to eat Ron," Harry called out to me.

"Fine. But stay behind me and do exactly what I say," I said to him.

"I'm coming too!" Hermione said as she ran to catch up with us.

In that moment, I understood how Dad and Tony felt when Cassy and I went on out first missions with them. I understood how they worried about us because we were so young and eager to help. But Dad had faith in me from the beginning and I swore I would have the same faith in Harry and Hermione.

The closer I walked to the whomping willows, the more active it became. It started to swoop and swipe at me with its branches, but I stayed one step in front of it the whole time. There had to be a simple way to get in, after all a dog could do it. I tentatively moved closer to the tree, not wanting to make any sudden movements. But harry, not listening to what I had told him to do, ran towards the tree. Hermione, being the loyal friends that she was, followed Harry and was hit by one of the branches. She screamed as she hung on to the branch for dear life as the tree tried to shake her off by madly flinging its branches around.

"HARRY! HERMIONE! What part of stay behind me did you not understand," I yelled as one the branches knocked him off his feet.

"Sorry!" Harry yelled as he rolled to get out of the way of one of the branches.

"You better be, mister!" I told him as one of the branches came towards me.

Instead of dodging the branch, I turned my staff back into its original form, and stood my ground as the branch came towards me. Seconds before the branch hit me, I jumped into the air and flipped myself over the swinging branch before grabbing on to my staff and flinging myself on to the tree trunk.
