I spend the next few days siphoning blood out of the weapons of the people near me as we hunt demons. I make sure throughout that no one notices though so it should come as a surprise when very little blood comes out of the weapons from all the different areas that I have been to. Especially since the area the blood is from cannot be traced.

It all comes to a point when Rin is taken and I am informed that Rin is to be executed on the roof of the school. I arrive at the roof of the school to see massive sets of runic circles. I examine them and see that it is a large summoning circle with stabilisation runes probably so it will hold for longer.

I message Yukio and tell him that he needs to stay away. I have a feeling that Satan is going to show himself and I don't need him possessing one of my brothers. If he possesses me I will be able to hold him there instead of him being able to control me so it should be fine.

They start the ceremony and blood pours out of the weapons. More than I expected but clearly less than they did if the frown on my grandfathers face is anything to go by. It must be enough though because he brings out Rin's flames before sticking his sword into the ground and causing him pain through a rune that I somehow missed.

I try to hold back my reaction but I can't stand seeing my family getting hurt. "Stop this madness!" I say right as Yukio shows up.

"What's going on? You said you were going to turn Rin human!" He says. Clearly he didn't completely believe everything I said.

"He must be sacrificed so that Gehenna can be destroyed forever. He will be known as the man who destroyed Gehenna!"

"No!" Yukio says.

I can't have him here it makes everything harder and more dangerous. "Bill take Yukio away and keep him away until this is all over and I will upgrade your vessel." I say and I change his cat form to a human one so he can get control of Yukio better.

"You better." He says before grabbing Yukio and traveling away.

"Now get Rin off that stand I will give you the blood you need."

"But you are not Satan's spawn."

"Are you sure?" I say as I release the hold on my flames and they bathe the area around me in blue light. "Take my blood instead and stop the torture."

"Fine." He says before pulling Rins sword from the ground. I place his sword in its sheath and place it below him before cutting him down and cutting my own wrist and letting only the blood of Satan flow out. As it is of one hundred percent purity the portal needs less blood than they expect and the portal starts to open.

I quickly heal myself and place a ward around it so nothing can leave. I feel a strange presence enter my mind and quickly block it off. I put out my flames and erase the fact that I had them from everyone's mind but my grandfathers. Once I finish I see my peers from the exorcist class appear at the gate.

"What is going on here?" One of them ask. I notice that my ears are slightly pointed and can tell that it is from a slip in my control over my appearance due to how much blood I lost and the amount of control I have to use to keep Satan in my mind away from everything else.

"He is insistent on destroying Gehenna even though that is not how it works. He used the blood of Satan to open the gate and released Satan in the process."

"Where is he then? I don't see any blue flames." Ryūji says.

"I have him tucked away in my brain at the moment but it is taking most of my energy so my appearance may change a bit." I say giving them a warning while my grandfather cackles in the background. I hear the bomb hit the portal and sink in while he continues to cackle and Satan cackles in my head. I sigh as the portal explodes outward and launches demons into the ward that I put up. "Now that that is done I think it is about time to close the portal."

I walk over to the gate but stop for a second. I delve into my mind and into the area where Satan is. "You shouldn't be strong enough to stop me!?"

"You are simply Gehenna's version of Satan. I have had much more problematic things trying and take over my body. You are not special. Now, would you rather stay stuck in this part of my mind forever or go down with your gate?"

"You can't do this to me I am your father!"

"I do not count you as a father and I have done worse to one of my fathers before anyway so make your choice."

"I will not be imprisoned in your mind!"

"Great!" I say before violently shoving him out of my mind and using a sword to close the gate. I fall to the ground in fatigue afterwards but am able to use my powers to hide my inhuman traits that slipped out and ensure that they stay hidden before I pass out.
