Skià pov

Mabel told Stan that she could earn more money as a boss then him and he said that he could make more money than her while on vacation. They ended up making a bet to see who could make more money over the course of 72 hours. Mabel was running the mystery shack and Stan went to go vacation somehow.

She started out alright but it quickly went down hill. She let Wendy bring her friends to work and they were making a mess so she gave Wendy the day off. Then Dipper brought a supernatural creature from the forest into the shack and it drove two people insane.

The creature got out and broke several walls in the mystery shack before chasing off our customers and running off into the forest after I released a bit of my aura. "Now it is my turn to be in charge. Just do not tell Stan."

"Okay. Try your best I guess." Mabel says before stepping to the side. First I get Soos who got himself lost in the forest and then I get Wendy. She tries to get out of work by saying she has a headache but I lightly glare at her and she follows me back to the shack.

"Now, Wendy get back to work on the register. Dipper fix up any of the broken exhibits and Mabel clean up the souvenirs. Soos help me fix up the wall."

It takes about an hour of our seven remaining to fix up everything before we let more people in. People come in groups and we end up filling Mabel's jar and then some by the time we close for the night. We have to use some of the money to pay for the material that we used to fix the shack but we were still left with about four hundred dollars. Which I must say, is pretty good for six hours.

Stan gets back and tells us that he almost won 300,000 dollars on a game show but ended up losing it so he made no money meaning Mabel won. The original deal was that she gets to be the boss for the rest of the summer but she decides that she does not want that so her winnings now only include an apology dance.

It was quite amusing to say the least and made the work I had to do to earn that money worth it. It was even more amusing though that it was recorded and so he had to do the dance and song a few times until he got it right, according to Mabel.

Stan, Soos, Dipper and Mabel got stuck in the bottomless pit for a day. I ended up spending that day exploring the forest with Bill while they were out of commission as Wendy left and I closed the mystery shack.

Today we are going to the pool. I will distinctly not be going into the water because I do not feel like using magic to keep myself dry the whole time or turning into my mer form. I brought my own chair so I set it out and settle down into it. I watch my siblings in the pool and watch as Bill sees how long he can be underwater without having to breathe.

Dipper ends up getting the assistant lifeguard position so he can spend the whole day with Wendy, who is the lifeguard. Mabel finds a new boy to obsess over and Stan gets thrown in pool jail for picking a fight with Gideon over a chair.

Something is off about the boy in the pool that Mabel is interested in so I focus in on him a bit to pick up his scent and aura. It turns out he is a type of merperson that does not have a human form. I assume that he somehow got lost and ended up here. I can deal with him later after the pool closes so I do not reveal myself.

Mabel spends the whole day following him around trying to figure out his secret. He does end up admitting it to her though. She tells him she will be back tonight and we head back home.

I head out of the house at the same time as her and follow her back to the pool. She goes inside but I wait outside until she leaves. When she does finally head back to the shack I head into the pool area.

"So, Mermando, I heard what you were telling my sister earlier and I think I can be of some help. As long as you don't tell her how I helped you."

"You are Mabel's sister?"

"Yes. Now I can get you back to the ocean if you do wish."

"Really? I can go back to my family?"

"Yes."

"Wait first I want to write Mabel a letter." He says and I hand him some paper and a pencil. He writes and then folds the paper up. I dry it using magic and stick it in my pocket before addressing him again.

"Now I am going to put you in a bubble of water and float you back to the ocean."

"That will work?"

"Of course." He gives me his approval and I summon a bubble of water around him before lifting it up and out of the pool with him inside of it.

It is a calm walk to the beach and once I get him there I drop him in the water. "Make sure Mabel gets my letter."

"I will."

"Thank you." I nod and he swims off. I make sure he gets a safe distance away before heading back to the shack and going to sleep.

In the morning when we head back to the pool I place the letter on the floatation device that he was using to cover his tail. It only takes a few minutes for Mabel to find it and when she does she reads it and seems a bit sad but glad that he got out of here and got to go home to his family. I also make sure to erase the memories of what I did from the child who is solitary pool jail because I do not need anyone else knowing what I can do.
