The years started to blur together as my daughters got older and I continued my work as a doctor. Until today when I was called to meet the remaining avengers at Stark tower. Clint was also called to the tower so I had to bring my girls.

"What is going on?"

"We figured out a way to save everyone."

"How?"

"Time travel. If we go back and get the stones we can bring everyone back."

"Well if we take the stones before he snaps the whole timeline would change in ways that we could not ever predict. It could work though if we can come up with a way to get the stones right after he snaps and stabilize them then we could bring them back. Or theoretically we could get them before he even gets a hold of them but then we would have to find a way to get back to this timeline which if frankly even harder. Or perhaps we can get them from a different dimension all together but we would have to make sure that the dimension that we go to even has the stones and dimensional travel is even more fickle than time travel."

"You seem to know a lot about time travel for it not having been done before."

"It has been done before just not by humans. Well humans have time traveled but only using others technology."

"Really?"

"Yes, now let me make a call." I take out my old family and friends phone and call the doctor.

"What does my lovely wife need today?"

"I need some input on timeline manipulation."

"Do you want me to come there?"

"Please. I will send you the date, time and location."

"Okay see you soon."

"See you soon." I say before hanging up and messaging the details he needs to him.

"So who did you just call?"

"The doctor. He is the time traveler I know."

"Cool? I guess." Tony says probably still mildly confused by everything that is going on.

It only takes a few minutes for me to start to hear the sound of the TARDIS. Once it fully appears and the eleventh doctor walks out I walk over. "Hey pretty boy. Do you have anyone with you?"

"No I dropped Amy and Rory off before coming so you have my attention all to yourself."

"Good. So I'm assuming you have heard about the snap."

"I was told stories about it when I was young. Why did it just happen? I thought it was supposed to happen in a few weeks or maybe that was when it was fixed."

"Good to know we fix it soon. It happened five years ago I just didn't even think of time travel or anything like that to fix it before but honestly I think it was because I was being too sulky."

"Well I'm not sure how time travel could fix this anyway."

"What do you mean?" One of the others asks.

"Well if you mess with the timeline to a great degree this timeline could be changed which would lead to you not going back and continuing in that way for all eternity. In other words it would cause a paradox." The doctor stops for a moment before speaking again. "Maybe if you could find a way to get into a different timeline and get the stones from that timeline." He says in a thoughtful tone.

"How would you know if it is a different timeline or not?" Tony asks.

"Things will be different. Not as different as another dimension but different."
